I watched the movie I thought it was downright hilarious. All the mayhem that ensues and the bad stuff that happen to Daffy are priceless. Some big celebs are in it. Jenna Elfman, Brenden Fraser, Timothy Dalton, Steve Martin, as the main villain, WWE Superstar Bill Goldberg, Heather Locklear & Joan Cusack to name a few.
The DVD features were cool. There are some deleted scenes like an alternative beginning & opening and things that just didn't seem to fit in with the film. It had a behind the scenes look at the film and a new Road Runner/While E. Coyote cartoon called "Whizzard Of Ow" and it's funny.
Was it really a comeback to Space Jam?
It was like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" where the toons & humans coexist and make cartoons together.
Very good review my friend. I was going to see this movie when it hit theatres, but it was in and out in such little time that I didn't get a chance to. I'm gonna rent it since you like it though.
This movie was supposed to be a return to the Looney Tunes cartoons of old days, but it came out at a bad time and WB never really gave it a whole lot of promotion. Something must've happened because usually these are promoted out the hilt, but I think that most of the WB merchandising and promotional money went towards The Matrix movies that hit in 2003, awful as they were. I'll tell you this though, the amount of merchandising that goes towards Yu-Gi-Oh: The Movie when it hits in August is gonna make Harry Potter look like a Muggle lol jk. Its gonna be a lot of promotion and merchandising for Yu-Gi-Oh: The Movie or whatever its called though. I am definitely waiting for that movie and we will probably see the first trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Keep an eye out for it.
That comes out the day after my birthday.
