Saw it tonight with my dad. It was awesome. Loads of visual effects and some parts made me cry. I will say more soon.

The visuals were great. I really liked the Christian aspects that came out in it. Those were in the books too of course. :D I'd really like to get it on DVD, as well as TT.

The King ceremony was making me shed tears for some reason.
Ediger03 - March 19, 2004 11:00 PM (GMT)
Really, that's interesting. The Sam and Frodo scenes kinda got me teary eyed.

We all know what'll happen next. They made that part in the 70s or 80s.

After Sam got the book. The Book "The Hobbit" takes place afterwards from what I can tell.
Ediger03 - March 22, 2004 04:25 PM (GMT)
Actually, "There and Back Again: A Hobbits Tale" is the book called the Hobbit. I don't know what Sam writes though.

Okay. And you can now post in Celebrities.

I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THE MOVIE... IT ROCK'S BIG TIME
Purple Ranger 14 - March 25, 2004 05:46 AM (GMT)
My dad & I thought that Frodo would suffer the same fate as Gollum.
Ediger03 - March 25, 2004 07:47 PM (GMT)
Why should he suffer the same fate as Gollum? He carried the ring, and destroyed it. No one else could've gotten 1/4 as far as he did.

I really liked the movie. It been a long time since I saw but it was awesome. Hopefully Peter Jackson will do the Hobbit. I sure hope he will.

The one where a Hobbit has to protect an infant that could one day overthrow an evil woman???
Ville Valo - March 26, 2004 01:31 PM (GMT)
Never heard of that Book called: "The Hobbit" Can anybody tell me what happens in that book (In a few Words)???
Purple Ranger 14 - March 27, 2004 05:38 AM (GMT)
I believe that it is the story of Bilbo.
Ediger03 - March 27, 2004 08:23 PM (GMT)
The Hobbit is where Bilbo finds "THE RING." He finds it while on his way, with some Dwarves, to help the Dwarves defeat the Dragon Smog, who had taken over the Dwarves mountian kingdom. They do, and then there is a battle of 5 or 6 armies, or more, at the end. Then Bilbo starts writting "There and Back Again: A Hobbits Tale," which is the story of the Hobbit, but they don't redo everything.

I believe I just said that.
