Power Rangers RISING SUN

The year is 2185; a group of teenage students began their educational trip to a traditionally hieroglyphic planet inside another dimension for interplanetary geology. Trouble finds their way when an evil sorceress and her Skeleton Soldiers makes an invasion on the planet to find 7 of the most powerful swords in the universe, the SunSabers, invisibly hidden by a hologram. Only those chosen will see the swords and use them to become a team of magnificent powers, and for thousands of years, the intergalactic community have attempted and failed to find and free the Sabers and become new warriors. The Skeleton Empire as they are called, led by Queen Asteroid, intends to use the powers to destroy the universe.

A younger teen, Nathan, only knows the secrets behind these powers, and knows the whereabouts of the dangers that will take place. He sneaks aboard the DynaCraft Mark 1, once manned by the Deep Space Rangers, and now ran as a landmark by a high school spacecraft mechanic named Rashid. Nathan convinces him to use the craft again to go save the planet and his friends.

Mitzi, Freddy, Sasha and Dayton took part in the trip with Sandra, their former martial arts instructor, and along the way they encounter inhabitants of the planet, Eric and Simon, originally from Earth, and later Rashid and Nathan, all while being lost, fighting against Asteroid and her Skeleton Soldiers with Sasha being badly injured from their invasion. Once Nathan tells the group about these ancient swords, they then realize that he, along with Mitzi, Freddy, Dayton, Rashid, Simon and Eric are chosen to free them. The sun’s beams of light unlocks the powers of the Sabers and transforms the 7 teens into a new team of Power Rangers, continuing the legacy of saving the universe from evil as the newest warriors of the RISING SUN.

The two girls kind of scare me. I still need help with Element Squad.

^^^What is it about them that scares you? Did you still need ideas on the Ice, Lightning and Earth Rangers?

The events that led to the near deaths with fire, water, wind, earth & ice. I got a pretty good idea for Lightning in my head. And the ideas you originally gave kind of sucked. They just scare me.

Sorry about that; my ideas were the only ones I could think of. I thought those would lead to their brush with death...And by the way, those two actresses were never meant to be scary. Those were the best ones I could find.

Tell you what, what was your idea for Lightning? Maybe that would help me help you. :)

First off, you got the Ice's gender wrong. It's a guy.


For Lightning, he was a drama student in high school, even though he had stage fright. But he decided to work behind the scenes as prop master. There was a girl in his drama class named Lauren who he had a huge crush on but believed she'd never go for him because he was a loser. It was opening night and at the same time, there was a nasty thunder storm brewing. Lauren was running a bit late and Bobby, the future Yellow Ranger, was outside waiting for her. When she arrived, Bobby caught up to her near a large puddle & a street light. Lauren was about to step into the puddle when Bobby somehow heard a lighting bolt coming and pushed her out of the way. Bobby got struck by the lightning instead of Lauren and fell into the puddle like a toy doll and ended up unconscious. What he didn't know was that the lightning tested him to see if he was pure of heart & brave enough to be the Yellow Ranger and he passed by sacrificing himself to save someone and he was infused with abilities he would later use as the Yellow Ranger.

Yeah, you already told me about Ice, and again, my apologies.

I'll see if I can try again later with my ideas and incorporate them with what you did for Lightning (and that is a wonderful idea, I may add). Hopefully that's okay with you, of course.

Hey, I'm finally working on my first TURBINE story. I'll put it up in my thread whenever I get finished with it.

Good luck. Just got a killer of an idea for Water. She gets hit by the Tidal Wave after she saves a little girl at the beach because she's a lifeguard. The current gets so intense that it pulls her downward. She struggles to get to the surface and nearly drowns in the process.

Hmmm....That sounds interesting.
