The movie's gonna be an animated one, from what I've read. It doesn't take place in the current continuity, though. As far as I can tell, it'll be released sometime in August here in the US. :ph43r: I'm gonna check future issues of Anime Insider & Shonen Jump for more info. :ph43r: :ph43r:

What I've heard from Realms was the movie was based after the Battle City Finals but before the Doom Saga.The Villian has a new Milliumem Item an 8th secert item since there was supposed to only be 7 items.Also for the TCG fans they will be giving out a promo YuGiOh card when you buy a ticket.

I cannot wait for that!!! There's something in my Book with Slifer on the cover that asks fans to list what actors they'd want to see portray Yugi & the gang in a Live Action version.

According to the latest issue of Shonen Jump, Yugi's taking on an Egyptian evildoer named Anubis. The article has some shots of a few of the monsters from the movie. One of the monsters actually resembles a Sphinx. :ph43r: The only familiar Duel Monster that I know of that's in the movie is Dark Magician Girl. If there are any other familiar ones in addition to the new ones, I'll let y'all know. :ph43r:

Well, I gotta admit, they did a great job with the movie. Seeing familiar ones like Dark Magician and the Toon World Gang (my little name for Toon World and related Monsters), along with Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon (my favorite of the new ones), made it a movie to remember. I wonder if they'll bring a second one here to the US? :ph43r:
