I thought about posting this in Minnesota Ghosts category, but since the house is actually in Iowa, I decided not to.
Anyway, my husband was telling me about a lady he runs into at work from time to time. I guess she has an old victorian house in Northern Iowa, was planning on turning it into a B&B but right now it lies vacant. I guess my husband said something about me being into ghosts and stuff, and she said that the place was haunted and she has talked to the ghosts before. Of course when he was telling me this I was like "What??!!! How was she talking to them?" And a hundred other questions. He said he'll ask her more about it next time he sees her. I told him to ask about doing an investigation too. I'll let you know more as I find out. I'm not sure exactly where in Iowa. ut she was familiar with where my family's from in Allamakee County, very NE corner of the state. I guess its pretty close to there. I hope to find out more soon.
