Yesterday we had a kids Halloween party in the afternoon, then had one for the adults at night. I had been taking pictures through the night and every single one of them was clear. No dust, clean lense, ect. Then, out of all of them came this one:



The picture before and the picture (all taken within mere minutes of eachother) are clear as a bell. It's a digital, Kodak easyshare, nothing fancy. I've had other things like this happen when this same group gets together. I'm just starting to learn about the whole catching things on film bit. Usually I just see it and go "oh, okay" and that's it. But I'm getting a lot more interested in it as seems it seems to be happening more and more in my pictures lately.

Thoughts?

I dont know Med. I dont see any concrete evidence of that being orbs or spiritual nature in the photograph. It almost appears to be dust or some type of precipitation.

Usually orbs are different in brightness and some are in motion when you get a large group together.

I have never seen anything supernatural where all the orbs are the same brightness.

It's interesting because of the circumstances that you mentioned. Nothing like in one you used the flash but not the other?

Just looking at the picture I would say dust etc.

Like I said, I'm still learning, that's why I wanted other opinions. What should I be looking for? I have quite a few pictures that have "oddities" in them, but I'm never sure what I should look for to rule them out. Flash on the pic was automatic, not redeye and went off everytime. None of the other pictures have anything in them, and the ones taken right before and after (same group, same places, within just a moment of eachother) were clear.
