Everyone works with energy differently; some see it, some feel it, some even hear or smell it (taste? probably!). I personally feel it, and it translates in my mind into an image. So that's where I teach from. If you learned a different way, I encourage you to submit your way of working with energy to this list.

The first way to feel energy, to know what it is, is to feel it in yourself. Just like in the first lesson, feel the INSIDE of your body, from WITHIN. What do you feel? Right now, I feel a soft flowy, tingly feeling. As I focus on that a little more, I notice a stone-like feeling in my ankle where I'm holding the muscles tight. I feel heat and pulling in my low back. I feel a wave-like pulse go from my head to my toes/hands and back.

Next, place your hands palm-to-palm. Rub them a little, and then slowly pull them apart, like pulling taffy. What do you feel? Do you see anything between your hands?

The next step is to find a partner -- human or furry friend. With their permission, place your hands on their back or side. Feel into your hands. Now extend that feeling into the companion's body. What do you sense?

Trust that what you feel is real. Keep working with this every day. We will continue to work with energy on more and more advanced levels as we go. If you are an advanced energy worker already, perform this exercise anyway, for everything starts from the basics, and to the basics we will always return. 1. What do you feel inside your body? Are there any areas of dense or tight energy? Where is it flowing?

2. What did you experience when pulling your hands apart?

3. What happened when you placed your hands on your partner? There are no wrong answers! Just report on your experience.
