Here's the thread wherein you could post trivia/s about yourself that will probably surprise other people.

Ok, I'll start:

-I once appeared in a movie as an 'extra'. No I won't tell which movie. It's hella EMBARRASSING!! :lol:

-My officemates dont know that I cosplay

Hehehe...

- I was featured in an MGB (Magandang Gabi Bayan) episode as a victim of medical malpractice and a recipient of a unique surgical/medical breakthrough.

- I appeared in Mareng Winnie's show (dunno the title) as a bystander extra of some sorts, asking questions. This one's truly pathetic. The next day I went to school, everybody was laughing at me literally. But it was ok for me since I was laughing at myself as well LOL :lol:

I can think of anything else. This will do for now :)

i once lied about my bday, i was only a 4th grader then, i told everyone that my bday is Nov.12, when it is really on Nov.27...LOL! :lol: :P i didn't even know the exact reason why!

- I was in an MTV of Parokya ni Edgar's "Inuman Na". I was the black Alien guy dancing and molesting Yosi Kadiri. My first MTV 10 seconds of fame, sort of.

- In relation to the first statement, the Alien costume that showed up at Culture Crash and SciFi Conventions was originally mine. I last wore it at a Halloween party last year. I came to the sad decision to sell it because i had no place for it in my room and it was deteriorating before my eyes. So i auctioned it off at UBEJAM.

- I can burp so loud, that my brother can wake up from his dreams.
- I once stole an umbrella from a neighbor out of fun.
- I used to ring the doorbell of a dentist from the 3rd floor of our bldg, everytime i use the stairs.
- A lesbian lady friend kissed me on the lips by surprise, out of fun -- because she knows i don't like the sight of seeing women kissing each other :angry:

1.) AQ2K1, a lot of people thought I am a guy (coz I crossplayed Ascot). Cute girls came and hugged me... and they were so shocked to find out that I am one of them! :lol:

2.) People say that I look young for my age. Physically 15 daw, pero sa totoo I'm 21... <_<

3.) I don't find myself attractive, so I really dunno why I am usually a victim of coercion. :angry:

4.) I usually win free invites (premiere tickets) from radio stations. :D

- I used to write, direct, and act in plays in highschool from 1st year to 4th year. I never took the role of the main character (only once, as Rizal).

- I held the position of PRO for the Samahang Sikolohista ng Centro Escolar University for a year. The weird thing about it is, those who voted for me (especially the freshmen and sophomores) don't even know what I look like. I didn't attend the campaigns even once.

Rikku Rose, if I recall correctly, you said that your bday is Nov 12 because you had a classmate whose bday is the same as yours (Nov 27). You said you didnt want someone in the classroom to have the same bday as yours so you told them that your bday is Nov 12. :lol:

Speaking of plays:

-during my college days, I played the role of Kim in our Miss Saigon play. We showed it in 3 different occasions, feeling ko nga nagsawa na yung mga tao sa'min haha. I really enjoyed the experience that I wanted to become a theater actress after College. But look, I became a programmer instead. :DWe also had another musical play wherein I'm also in the lead role. I had to sing les miserables' 'On My Own' and 'I Dreamed a Dream' live. It's a bit different from the miss saigon play because we had the voices of the actual actors in the background (we had no means to get a multiplex version of the miss saigon soundtrack) so we tried our best to sing louder than the actual singers. haha.

-Our school had this Christmas play wherein I played the role of the Virgin Mary (yikes! nakakagulat noh? haha). There was a kid there (she played the role of a little angel I think) who wanted to take a pic with me. Her mom approached me and told me 'Nahihiya syang lumapit sayo kasi akala nya ikaw yung totoo na mama mary'. aiya! i even had a crush on the Joseph guy there. lol! and to think he was only in fourth year HS. 3rd year college na ata ako nun ^^;;

- i was an extra for this 80's show, and my aunts asked me to go to aga muhlach (or was that richard gomez o_o;) to be hugged and kissed on the cheek. I was approximately 3 1/2 - 4 years old >_>;

- i was a model in a fashion show (i was around 9yrs old)

- i tend to get extremely violent once i get <b>really</b> angry (which is rare, happened around 7 times max in my whole life)

- my classmates told me i had a "calling" to the nunnery o_O;

- I was called einstein in 7th grade. Coz i like science and i had the same hair as he did ;_;

-2nd yr highschool... im a fan girl of a famous filipino band... hindi ko sasabihin kung anong band... :P me and my highschool friends attended their launching album and na-publish mukha namin sa isang songhits --;

-When i was in 4th yr highschool... 3 freshmen were stalking me... they borrowed my ID and photo copied it... in exchange of that... they gave me a family picture of Vinci Montaner [parokya ni edgar] na super crush ko nung time na yun --;

-i also changed my bdate... instead of march 7... ginawa kong April 15 [leonardo da vinci's bday]... kse tinanong nung mga freshmen... im such a liar baby! --;

-1st year college... the jeep of MTV [parabos] went to shoot a segment at UP Finearts... sumakay kme sa jeep and took some pictures :lol:

-Whenever i invite a crush to attend a certain event with me... parati akong rejected... ;_;

I had SUCH a ball reading these, it's time for me to tell my surprises:

1) In all my 19 years of life, I NEVER learned how to swim. XD Di ba, Gem? You even saw me nearly DROWN ... in my VERY OWN DEBUT!!! XD (I had a pool party for my debut. Gem and a couple of other anime fans were there. :D )

2) At 14, I was one of the youngest winners of the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. It was back in 1998, when I wrote like there was no tomorrow. --; I won third place, Filipino division, Kabataan Essay category. (The 1st-placer, by the way, has been stalking me ever since. --; ) It was in the awards ceremony when I first met Director Marilou Diaz-Abaya, and where I learned to drink. (Those damn writers forced me to it, I swear! ;_; )

3) I used to cry a lot. I mean a LOT. I was such a chicken-ass little girl! Madali akong apihin dati, sobra ... pero noong high school na... XD

4) I've written to Chalk twice (the summer issues of 2001 & 2002, I won't say which month/s), and to the Youngblood section of Philippine Daily Inquirer once...

5) I danced with the now-defunct band Kulay the summer before my freshman year! I'll always treasure that, they were SOOOOOOOOOOO cool. I still miss Kulay a lot. ;_;

6) I used to be bulimic ... ok, maybe that wasn't a surprise, some of you already knew about it.

7) I used to bully the teachers in grade school and high school! XD <evil psychotic laughter>

for me during high school, nag film ng movie si Judy Ann Santos sa school ko. they needed extras and so a few of us volunteered. we did get paid P500 per day for atleast two weeks. and thinking back... yuck! ang baduy! i don't even remember the name of the movie --; and i don't even want to know.

and there was a time i made several appearances sa t.v. *shucks* and even went on a morning talk show where they discussed opinions about male beauty pageants, at napagtripan pa ako ng baklang producer to go on the set. ;_;

Eto embarrassing.

Sakristan ako dati, just a few years ago. Junior pa lang rank ko noon. Supposed to be senior knights ang may hawak nung incense (insenso) but since I was the only sakristan around during that 1st Friday mass, ako na humawak. Sa sobrang kaba ko, nakalimutan ko iclose yung incense holder thingamajig na yun. E sa harap ng buong mass ko gagamitin yun. Ayun, pag swing ko, bumuhos lahat ng uling sa carpet sa harap tapos lumiyab. Ineexpect ko yari ako. Langhya yan. Tinawanan pa ako nung priest presider pati nung mga staff ng church... Hiyang hiya ako to the extent na may phobia na ako dumaan dun sa isle na nag insenso ako... --; :angry: --; :angry:

After that, pagpalit ko ng damit, nagpalipas muna ako ng mga 15 mins after the mass para sure wala na halos tao... Hehehe...

- i used to be so fat when i was in gradeschool. back then i used to join mr. and ms. competitions and guess what? i used to win a lot! :lol: hehe...

-i love math. used to be a competitor in mtap competitions

- was once called adidas boy kasi halos lahat ng gamit ko adidas

- i used to join and win on-the-spot art competitions. 'was awarded by cardinal sin one time.

- i ranked first in editorial cartooning-journalism all over manila ech year from 1st year high to 3rd year. i was dropped to 5th in my fourth year with norman isaac as judge... this made me so feel so bad sabi ko babawi ako... i was then chosen to represent NCR in the national competition on a separate contest held in misamis occidental a couple of months later

-boy scout ako since maliit pa ako. i've attended many campings and jamborees in the past. given the chance, itutuloy ko yun.
