Nah, I don't think they're going shonen. ^_^ Maybe it's to "broaden their horizons" so to speak.

OR, maybe it's their reaction to the US censorship/editing/butchering of CCS, since I'm sure they've heard of what those baka! networks did to the anime: turning Shaoran into the lead, erasing the word SAKURA in the title, painstakingly editing the episodes so that it would be all about Shaoran and not Sakura (which was not only tiresome, I bet, but altogether pointless IMHO, since not ALL the episodes have Shaoran in them. And how can you explain that the guardian beast lived with Sakura??? Huh? Huh??? Geez... what were they thinking???)

At least that stupid dub had a short life span. --;

Or it could be that they just responded to the clamoring of their millions of CCS fans. As for me, I'm just grateful they brought the characters back! ^_^ I love Sak-Shao! Watching them makes me mushy and giddy and... wah! they're just TOO TOO KAWAII!!! ^o^

Okay, getting emotional... will stop... ^.^

I suppose you're right on ALL points ... especially the censorship bit. XD

And yeah, Sakura+Shaoran = CUTEY COUPLE OF ALL TIME. :wub:
:dance: :turn:

Come to think of it though, it IS rare that a creator (or in this case, a set of creators) creates a manga in an entirely different genre that contains the same characters as in the previous manga, while only switching the lead roles (here the focus is on Shaoran as he was the romantic male lead in CCS, so now he gets the spotlight in Tsubasa). :sadako:

Uh, did I make sense? :huh:
