Oh-kay, since no one has posted anything about this yet, I guess it might as well be me... forget the fact that my LJ is practically brimming with MG-related entries. XD
Isn't it weird how Meteor Garden suddenly sparked so much interest? THe F4's videos are even shown on MYX now --- currently their number one song is the F4's Jue Bu Neng Shi Qu Ni, also the opening theme of MG2. Do the people even appreciate the music or were they voting for it BECAUSE it's F4??? (Personally, *I* play the same song on my comp because I thought it sounded good when I first heard it on the MG2 opening. I didn't even know that F4 sang it at the time.) Would they react the same way if it were the other F4's songs? I'd laugh if one of Jerry's songs hit number one. XD Gomen, A Shi, demo... you can't sing. --;
Speaking of which, I'd really like to recommend Vanness Wu's "I Hate Myself"... because it sounds good. ^_^ Vic Zhou's "Wei Ni Zhi Zhuo" is also pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend it. Why? Because I'm elitist. And he's M-I-N-E. End of story. :P

The F4 is a group of four of the most popular, handsomest, and richest boys in Meteor Garden. MG is a Taiwanese TV series adaptation of the anime Hana Yori Dango. They just recently showed it here (ABS-CBN, who else, hay.) I think it shows at 5:30 or 6:00pm now. Basta before TV Patrol. ^_^ The guys there are cute, but I like the person who plays Lei best. :wub: The only problem is they have terrible acting. --; But the series is fun and the storyline is good --- rich guy-poor girl concept thing --- especially if you've watched the anime because the first MG was VERY faithful to it. ^_^ (Down to dialogues. I liked it.)

:unsure: pareho lang tayo. guess not too much time on tv i guess. interesting ang story tho. time we show other soap operas aside from the ones coming in from mexico/southern amerika.

Vic has a nice singing voice. ^_^ I'm not biased when I say that. I mean, I get LSS on some of his songs. And it might be a good thing if he sings like Andy Lau. Well, bad if he gets too famous with the girls. ^.~
But Vanness! Wow. HE can sing! He can handle his high notes, he can rap, he can do ballads, he can DANCE. He's just the most talented of the F4. And I'm so awed. ^.^

Based from the bios I got online, Vanness isn't talented just because he is - he's got a former boy band and a lot of dance and song lessons to back it up. And the reason why he actually exudes such an extrovert personality may be because he's not originally from Taiwan - he was born and raised in the US, and he shuttles his time between LA & Taiwan these days. XD
As for someone singing like Andy Lau ... all I can say is, Andy Lau's the bomb! XD I may not understand nor speak a word of Cantonese but his songs moved me enough, so there. I say it's not bad if one sings like Andy Lau ... as long as there's soul in it, it's not a parroting sort of singing style. ;)
Minami-chan, I sure hope you saw Jerry's video today... they were playing it in MYX. :P Enjoooooooooooyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Andy Lau is not the best singer in Taiwan or HK though. Its Jacky Cheung actually... Hehehe!
Ive been listening to some F4 songs for some months already and one song caught my attention. Anybody who listens to Hirai Ken will agree with me that F4's "Liu Xing Yu" sounds comparably and noticeably the same as Hirai Ken's "Gaining Through Losing". Maybe some of their songs are just adaptations from famous various songs around the globe.
They also have a Chinese version of Asereje, if you didn't know. XD

I Know it hurts to be corrected sometimes... But its better to correct a mistake, right... Sorry.. But F4 stands for Flower 4... Because Fantasy 4ever is the title of their album where "Can't Lose You" is included... I'm Sorry for correcting you... -__- nothing personal... :)

If you want more upbeat, I suggest listening to Vanness Wu. ^.^ Vic (Lei) and Jerry (A Shi) have more ballad-y styles. Vanness' style is more R&B. (LOL! Is that upbeat?) And he DANCES in his vids... COOLIES!

Yep. Kaso sabi ng friend ko na nakakita mukhang gawa-gawa lang daw ng Pinoy yon...Sony nga yung gumawa pero hindi raw presentable yung pagkakagawa.
