Many of you have probably noticed a recent surge in population here in Canada.

Two days ago, your Cabinet began an aggressive marketing campaign, targetting nations with a demonstrated connection to Canada (whether it be Canadian flags, references to Canadian animals or place names in their nation name, etc.). We scoured some of the larger regions in Nation States and specifically targetted the very small percentage of nations that seemed to have a connection with Canada.

We are just a little over half-way through our recruting drive, and can say that in two days, 19 new nations have come to Canada as a direct result of our efforts. The final tally will likely increase as we finish up with this phase of recruitment.

Phase 2 of the Recruitment Drive was started today when we created the nation of "Visit Canada", which will be a roving Nation States Billboard that will travel the world, letting others know that we exist. It is our hope that this roving national billboard will both entice people to check us out with a view to either increasing immigration into the region, or to develop international relations with new regions. As some of you might notice, another region has already copied our idea with their own roving billboard nation.

Through this Recruitment policy, we hope to further cement the region's status as a destination of choice for nations at Nation States.
