Title: Safalra
Description: The daydream begins

Safalra - February 24, 2006 08:32 PM (GMT)
I've just moved a puppet nation, The Free Land of Canadian Safalra, into Canada. My main nation is The Fleeting Daydream Of Safalra. Some of you may know me as the author of UN resolutions #62 and #142. Real oldies among you might remember that way before NSEconomy and NSTracker, there was a program called NSDemographics - that was mine.

I'm one of those strange English people that views Canada as some kind of idyllic version of England, so don't go shattering my youthful misconceptions. ;)

*okay then... something to endear myself to the locals...* Great result in the curling by the way - shame you missed out on the seven, though. *that should do...*

Well hello there! Canada is actually very much like the UK, except we have less lorries and more moose.

You will pardon me if I don't remember the UN resolutions, I'm part of Canada's anti-UN group, both in real-life and in-game.

...and the Canadian Conservatives actually have a chance of winning an election. ^_^ I'm afraid England doesn't have anything as exciting as a moose (or 'elk', as well call them over here, despite the fact we don't have any) - the most exciting animals here are foxes (which the Prince Of Wales wants dead) and badgers (which the farmers want culled). I understand that Scotland has some sort of creature with antlers, but I've never been north of the 56th parallel to see...

Well, one of them was a repeal and the other one had no compulsory clauses, so as the national-soverignty-infringing UN goes, they're pretty harmless stuff.

I'm pro-fox and pro-badger. How would the farmers and Princes of Wales like it if I called for their numbers to be culled?

Golden Kegger - February 25, 2006 02:03 AM (GMT)
welcome!

oh, and beer might as well be our national religion....

heres a factoid : you are an alcoholic if u get drunk every weekend.... that makes me like... 3x alcoholic!

It sure is busy here. Back in England there are only a few of us welcoming newcomers, and I'm the forum's top poster despite having fewer than 3000 posts. Your regional government is rather more organised too - we only just noticed that we forgot to hold January elections. *note to self: must steal ideas and use them back in the old country*

No, you're only an alcoholic if you go to meetings.

I have no idea what that is, but as they say: "try everything once except incest and morris dancing". :)

Try it, you'll like it!
