That's kinda lame. I guess if he just didn't declare it and it's clean money that's adequate. And if it's dirty money they'll charge him with something else.

Sounds a little fishy to me. If the money is clean then what do you have to worry about. Sounds to me like it was dirty money and he was attempting to clean it up.
