*stumbles in with a dishevelled tux and a bottle of scotch*

I wasn't ignoring the party, I was just in a different room.

*fumbles around in his breast pocket for a cigar and some matches*

They’re doing a roast for Alan Greenspan over there. Good party. Alan Greenspan is bearish on both the economy and those tasty little crab puffs

Parrrrtay - August 4, 2005 02:05 AM (GMT)
Awwwww dang, I had a headache and my dress wasn't back from the dry cleaners yet! :wall:

Welcome to Canada Part Time Angels! And why am I the only one dressed up? Does it not say "FORMAL" in the title? ;)

Ess - August 4, 2005 02:06 AM (GMT)

TV turns and stares open-mouthed for a moment, suddenly unaware of everything else. In a few quick strides he reaches Shay's side. "You look stunning!" and kisses her as she should be kissed--until Ess jabs him in the back with her elbow. ;)

Ess - August 4, 2005 02:12 AM (GMT)
You two!

Always with the making out! :P

TinyVillages - August 4, 2005 02:14 AM (GMT)
"Making out? That was just one kiss. You want to see making out..." he stops when he ses Ess' hand go towards her olling pin. "So, how do you like the party."

Parrrrtay - August 4, 2005 02:14 AM (GMT)
WOW Ess red definately is your color!

Ess - August 4, 2005 02:15 AM (GMT)
*puts away rolling pin* :P

Thanks, Shay! :)

Nice suit, JG! :)

TinyVillages - August 4, 2005 02:39 AM (GMT)
Shay, Ess, now Checkers. Canada definitely has beautiful women.

Oh, and Jg you look quite sharp. I'm thinking my jeans and t shirt will have to go.

Freezing Cold Water - August 4, 2005 02:43 AM (GMT)
Congrats! Can I join in? How is the food?

TinyVillages - August 4, 2005 02:44 AM (GMT)
IF you ask me, it's excellent, but I'm the caterer. :D

Judith Gap - August 4, 2005 03:06 AM (GMT)
According to Deamon, Greenspan was bullish on the shrimp. No one knows party food better than economists!!!

The food is truly excellent.

TinyVillages - August 4, 2005 03:08 AM (GMT)
Thank you, JG, I'm glad you approve. We have dinner, but it seems everyone is content to kick back and relax. Truly Canadian. :D

hudson bay - August 4, 2005 06:56 PM (GMT)
Thanks you that would be very nice. Are you having the crab or the steak?

Ess - August 4, 2005 07:14 PM (GMT)
*pours win for hb*

I'm thinking I'll have the crab. Tough choice to make!

I'll definately be having the brownies for dessert! ^_^

hudson bay - August 4, 2005 07:52 PM (GMT)
Even in French, Rhubarb doesn't sound more appealing than Belgian chocolate ^_^

Parrrrtay - August 4, 2005 08:06 PM (GMT)
Ess...there is NOTHING better than Chocolate!

Ess - August 4, 2005 08:26 PM (GMT)
There were bags of chocolate at a store on Granville Island - chocolate covered nuts, etc.

One name was "Better than Sex"! :D

No - I didn't buy any!

I will next time and let you know! :P
