BCC has just left. She's on her way to the ferry to the island.

We had a really nice visit and it was especially fun to have lunch and wander Granville Island with her and mav! ^_^

Hubby, BCC and I were going to a couple stores for BCC last night when we passed a Mongolie Grill and she got real excited! I'd never been so hubby dropped us off and man, what a cool place to eat! Pick your own meats and seafood, vegetables, noodles and sauces and hand the bowl to the chef who cooks it on a large round grill. Guess the price - you pay by weight - and if you are right to the penny you get a $15 coupon for next time. I was 15 cents off...
It was soooo delicious! Just incredible!! ^_^

BCC is such a sweetie! Very fun to hang around with! :D

I'm glad y'all had a good visit. Was BCC less nervous?

She did great on her first solo road trip and she's just got to get from here to the ferry. We looked at the map and hubby led her to the street towards north van and on to Horseshoe Bay where the ferries are. She's fine! More excited than nervous! :D

We've got a place like that near my house.....It's called Fire & Ice, it's really cool. But you don't get to guess the price :(

We have a similar place in Winnipeg called The Palatal. They also have a karaoke bar attached to it. It's a nice place to eat.

Hello everyone!!!!!!

I am in Victoria right now! I'm at an internet cafe and I have to stop pressing buttons on my mouse! They all do different things like "back" and "home" and stuff, and I don't know what they are! :lol: So, I'm having a relatively good time in Victoria; drove down this morning, and I'll be driving back up to Courtenay, where I'm staying at a hostel, later tonight after the Ceremony of Flags. I'm meeting Joel in half an hour at Parliament Hill, my car is parked in a parkade somewhere (I should be able to find it later!). Victoria is just as confusing as Vancouver, but its smaller, so I figure I should be able to get in and out, and that's all I need!

Yesterday Joel and I hung out for a few hours that he had off, and tomorrow he's got the whole day off, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM, I do believe.

Other than that, nothing is really happening -- just thought I'd check in. Oh, and I recommend staying with Ess if you're going to Vancouver guys; she was a blast to live with for 2 days! :D

Me too. I got really tired just outside of Vancouver, but I couldn't pull over for a while, so I had to shake it off, and that was hard. But I made it home. I slept so well last night that I didn't even move -- my puppy was still in the same place he was when I fell asleep, and so was I! It was weird; I usually toss and turn a lot, but I'm glad. It means my sleep was good, and I slept for a good... 10 hours or so.

But I'm still tired!
