130 million pounds should be a good salery cap, since the advertage team has 26 players and that would leave 5 million a player. But really it is what the team is willing to spend.

The team compistion will be the 11 players on the feild rule, what postions your 11 players play should be up to you. This allows you to choose if you want a defensive or offensive team.

As predicted, I've been in the office most of this week (hate new system roll outs) however, I'm 40hrs from the middle of nowhere for 2 weeks+.

OK, yes a single-player draft would take way too long. On the other hand, I think that allowing me to pick the full team gives way too much advantage from luck of the draw. The budget is too high as well, and I think we need some team/squad rules. Could I suggest...


Budget of 80M
Max squad of 20 players, from which you select your weekly team of 11.
Team must contain precisely 1 GK, at least 1 forward, at least 2 midfielders and at least 2 defenders.

First round - I pick 6 players, FCW picks 7... up to Carrotcake picks 15.
Second round, we each pick the rest of our squad. I think that evens it out a bit.

If it can be simple, yes. I can't particpate in anything complex. Too much brain power being used on other things.

I'm still willing to have a go.

If we can get 10 people then we will do the TEAM draft rule.

How would the the TEAM draft rule work?

I'm in and I'd like to suggest a different draft method. This was used recently in our office for a CFL Football draft with a minimal amount of grumbling. :) (Modified as needed for FIFA Football of course.)

Go with Almonaster's £80M salary and 20 players with the following Rules:

1. Maximum of 5 players drafted per team per round.

2. Draft order reverses each round.

3. Each team must have 1 Manager and at minimum 1 Keeper, 1 Striker, 2 Mids and 2 Defenders.

4. A second Keeper may not be drafted prior to 12th pick and Roster is in accordance with Rule 3.

5. Maximum spending per Round
Round 1 - Max £10M Salary
Round 2 - Max £15M Salary plus carryover
Round 3 - Max £25M Salary plus carryover
Round 4+ - Remaining Salary


This way, you have to decide whether to go for a superstar in round one or a few middle value players etc. Also prevents you from grabbing a bunch of stars right off the bat.

At any rate, that's my suggestion and I'll live with whatever is decded but, let's get it going if we're doing it!
