Happy Canada Day!

I'm getting baptised and we're having a little Canada Day potluck down by the river. It should be quite cold!

I am going to the lunch at my small town where I plan to get totally slamed, then probably go and watch the fireworks all the time wondering if the aleins thinbk were declaring war on them.

HAPPY CANADA DAY EVERYBODY

Where were you when the lights went out?

it is amazing to think how almost 145 years ago today, was the day Canada became a nation. We later go on in 1901 to become one of the most successful regiments in the Boer War, and then also in WWI with the taking of Vimmy Ridge. But our history is not our military exploits, Canada one of the veiw bi-ligual nations in the world, has a economy supported by tolorence and multi-cuturalism. We have recently soildified are tolorence for minorities with the passing of the SSM bill. Today is a day for Canadians to bask in the glory of a peaceful nation, a nation that is a world leader in freedoms and equality. Today we celebrate our birthday, congradulations.

I'm going out with the family. Apparently they think I need to get away from the computer.

It's gonna be boring.

Well I was at a BBQ with my workmates tonight. I'm going on the Make poverty history march tomorrow, followed by another BBQ.

Nothing to do with Candada day, but it should be interesting.

Have a good one, everbody! :Canada:

Went to Swift Current, dropped about 200 bucks into their economy and seat a new record for myself personally with 18 drinks in 2 hours. After leaving the Saloon at Frontier Days, we then went to the Caddyshack bar and partied until we gots the boot. Outside, I rode around on my friends electric scooter that he won(after spending 60 bones trying to win it, they just give it to you, at least the good carnies do) in a rather drunken fashion. All in all, a damn good way to celebrate Canada Day. Happy Birthday Canada :Canada: :Canada: :Canada: :Canada: :Canada: :Canada:
