Since you are brand new to the region you may have missed Checker's post about Canada's Conflict of Interest Guidelines:

All candidates must remember that they have to disclose any conflicts of interest, in accordance with the Conflict of Interest Guidelines.

As stated in the law:
QUOTE
For greater certainty, a Government Position in a region outside of the Region of Canada shall be defined as any position of influence within a governing structure of a region outside the Region of Canada, including those that are equivalent to the Canadian positions of “Minister“ “Deputy Minister“ “Ambassador”, "Delegate", "Founder" and “CIA Intelligence Agent“.

Anyone who holds such positions outside of this region, must formally declare them here.

Have you posted any government positions you have outside the region?

PJ these is another issue I would like to clear up with you. It is a requirement that you have a nation located in the region in order to vote.

QUOTE
Subject to paragraph 3, all leaders of nations residing within Canada, regardless of UN status, shall be entitled to vote.

We don't seem to be able to find a nation located in Canada with a name similar to your member name. Do you have a nation in Canada? If so what is it's name?

Thanks for taking the time to clear this up...

PJ thanks very much for sending me an e-mail to clear up your nation's name.

Do you have anything to declare related to the Conflict of Interest Guidelines? (I feel like a border guard, "where did you buy that bottle of whiskey?" :P )

On the outside chance that you are more of a weekday poster, I'll repeat my question:

Do any of the nations you control hold any governmental positions in regions outside of the Region of Canada?

Don't worry, holding (or not holding) a government post outside the region does not disqualify you from holding office in Canada. It's an issue of being open and upfront with the voters of the region.

However, failure to make a disclose will result in the lost of your position should you win election:

QUOTE

5. Where a government member or candidate has failed to properly disclose an outside governmental interest as mandated in sections 1-3, such member or candidate shall be suspended from holding a government position in the Region of Canada for a period of not less than 60 days.

You are of course quite free to ignore my question. The voters of the region will draw their own conclusion from that information as well…
