Tiny Villages and ParrrrTay would like to invite you to join them in the Grand opening of:
T & P's Shoreline Spot

The restaurant is built by the thick trees on the shoreline, its dark wood nestled into the overhangning boughs. The marble floor and bamboo and thatch roof create an atmosphere of refinery and relaxation. There are tables for dining inside or outside, as the mood suits you.

Their wide variety of steaks and seafood can only be described as 'mouth watering'.
The service is 'outstanding'.
The bar fully stocked to suit your every thirst.

So won't you pull up a chair and join us, we promise you will not be disappointed.

ToDaYs SpEcIaL: Frogs cooked to your taste on the grill, with baked potato, and a side dish of lizard pate.

"WOW! That looks like a place in Thailand from a while back!!"

*scrathes head, looks at frogs and wonders if they were once princes?*

Sure looks nice. If the big boulders on the beach help cut down on the number of tourists then count me in...

I guess you could start throwing them at tourists. That would do it but it kind of destroys the tranquility of the diners.

You're all welcome anytime.

hudson bay - June 11, 2005 04:34 PM (GMT)
No need to throw them. Tourists wouldn't want to stub their delicate toes, or even be bothered to walk around something. Just having them lying on the beach would cut out most of the obnoxist tourists....

*Walks in, sits down at a table in the shade and becons to parrrrtay,*

"Please bring me a Horni Marguirita with no salt and for lunch I'd like a Sheep Herder's Special." ;)

Carbanousa - June 11, 2005 04:52 PM (GMT)
Sign me up! It's been a while since I done a complete bar-run. Now... where's the single malts - better start with those so we can remember them. ;)

Parrrrtay - June 11, 2005 05:23 PM (GMT)
"Here is your Horni Marguirita, JT, by the way 'nice kilt' ;) Your lunch will arrive in moments, please do enjoy the view until then."

"Carb, single malts lined up just to your right, enjoy"

Judith Gap - June 11, 2005 05:32 PM (GMT)

Parrrrtay - June 11, 2005 05:35 PM (GMT)

If I may recomend our 'island red'?
It is a wine made by one of Waiheke's newer producers, 'Obsidian Vineyard', and named Island Red 1999 Waiheke Merlot Cabernet. It is a blend of about 2/3rds Merlot and 1/3rd Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of Cabernet Franc.

And how would you like your steak cooked sir?

Redundancies - June 11, 2005 06:49 PM (GMT)
*slides up to the bar*

I'll have a shot of Crown, chilled, and a Killian's to chase--and for dinner...hmmm. I think I'll have the garlic fried shrimp.

TinyVillages - June 11, 2005 07:15 PM (GMT)
Ah, and excellent choice Red.

We'll have the drinks right out to you. Would you like to try and appetizer? I'd recommend the herbed crab dip.

Redundancies - June 11, 2005 07:19 PM (GMT)
Herbed crab dip? Why, sure, I'll take that!

Parrrrtay - June 11, 2005 07:28 PM (GMT)
Please kick back and enjoy the view while the food is cooking!

Jack_Tarr - June 11, 2005 08:17 PM (GMT)
Hi KD, can I buy you a Shirley Temple?

kana da - June 11, 2005 08:18 PM (GMT)
Well, okay, I guess.

I'm just waiting for Judith Gap to get here.

TinyVillages - June 11, 2005 08:22 PM (GMT)
Immediately.

*puts down a glass with a few cubes of ice* Fresh squeezed juices and no blender in sight. *shakes the ingredients for a moment, then pours them gently into the glass*

There you are, complete with umbrella. Anything else, KD? Having a good day?

Still want that Shirley Temple?

Anything for you JT?

Ess - June 11, 2005 08:51 PM (GMT)
May I join you, JT?

Could I please have a Long Island iced tea and some garlic prawns to start?! ^_^

Lovely place you have here! :)

Parrrrtay - June 11, 2005 11:23 PM (GMT)
"Not a problem Ess, Long Island Ice Tea is my favorite drink, so you bet I know how to make this one right! So good to hear you like the place."

"Here you go, try that and let me know if it is to your taste? Maybe a bit of Stevie to enjoy with your drink"
*walks over to the jukebox in the corner and punches Pride & Joy*

Doin ok Ess, although this place is really messing with my mind. You see, I know I was here before, but it was in Thailand and no, I was not on drugs at that time. Now suddenly, I end up in the same place in Canada. This could well be a case for Scully and Mulder! :ph43r:

Ess - June 12, 2005 01:51 AM (GMT)
Have another drink. That'll make everything all better! :D

*clinks glasses with JT*

TinyVillages - June 12, 2005 01:55 AM (GMT)
Ess, here's your order of garlic prawns, with just a hint of lemon.

Do you need anything else?

Jack_Tarr - June 12, 2005 01:56 AM (GMT)
Clanks glasses and downs another Marguirita. Oh yeh, this will make everything better....NOT. :(

kana da - June 12, 2005 02:31 AM (GMT)
*orders another virgin margarita*
