Title: Last minute stumping
Description: Exactly what it appears as...

Sybilla - February 5, 2004 05:07 AM (GMT)
Sybilla just wants to take this time to offer sincere thanks, on behalf of all of the citizens of Canada, to every candidate in these elections. Without the brave men and women who offer themselves up to the gods of democracy and the trials and tribulations of public office, the world would indeed be a darker, more sinister place.

The right to govern comes from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. ;)

That being said, let it be known that, if the people so choose, Sybilla will be a great paragon of the ideals of democracy in the position of Minister of Justice. Unilateral action is a dinosaur of the despotic past of civilization... Justice, by its very definition, is doing what is right. And no nation has the monopoly on righteousness. We intend, if elected, to follow not only the letter of the constitution of this region, but also its spirit: Where the 2 reach a grey, undefined area, we will seek clarification from the member states. It is only by maintaining a connection with the source of our elected power, the electors themselves, that we can with any mandate and legitimacy wield the powers of office. We intend to make right any wrongs done in this region, and we are not afraid to ask for the advice and opinions of the region's true rulers: You, the voting public. In fact, we insist on it. It's YOUR region, and only with your support does the law stand.

Vote Sybilla!
