Title: Kana Da for Minister of Justice
Description: One more contested election
kana da - February 19, 2005 03:17 PM (GMT)
Good day to you, my fellow forumees. As the current Deputy Minister of Justice, it is my pleasure to run for office as the Minister of Justice.
To contrast with the position of my worthy opponent, I do not believe that it is necessary to amend the Constitution. The problem with the election was not that it fell during a holiday period, but rather that the then-Minister of Regional Affairs missed it. This is not something that can be amended by the Constitution.
Also, if I am elected, I will produce the rough draft of a UN resolution this term. My idea currently stands as protecting religious freedoms, however, if someone has any ideas, I will most definitely listen.
Thank you for reading this, and have a nice day.

All right! Thanks for running. Don't have a lot of time right now but I'll try and get a discussion going on our positions later. Thanks again for running...

if your focus as MoJ will be to draft UN resolutions, something new to the office, then I will gladly support you.
MoJ seems to be a fairly slack job, an additional duty could be a blessing and help spark debate in this region, something we need more of as everyone seems to enjoy it!

It's actually always been part of the position. No one has really done much with that part of the job yet, except for OF's one attempt (Electronic Voting).

Indeed, that will be my main focus, a UN resolution. My goal for this term is to finish a rough draft of a UN resolution.
