Title: Mooo!
Description: Mad Cow Crazy

EmperorBezo - January 19, 2004 05:39 AM (GMT)
As an Albertan, I'm getting tired of hearing how crazy our beef makes people.

I've been eating Alberta beef for my whole life and I ain't gone crazy yet. I'm sick of the US blaming us for their problems.

Actually one guy in Britain fed his daughter mad cow beef purposely to show that mad cow was safe and she died two weeks later :ph43r: . I also wonder how they tested that cow in the U.S. if it was already processed and shipped out? The thing was already hamburger on the market how did they test it?
It probably was born in America since who most likely did the testing Americans and who doesn't want to look bad the Americans, they just most likely said it came from Alberta to protect they beef exports and their were already banning Canadian beef so it all adds up.

well here's something I don't have to worry about, I'm vegetarian :)

That's another thing. In my country, vegetarians are gonna be ground up and fed to the homeless. What good are vegetarians anyway? I think I can get my guilt elsewhere.

just like the poor animals that they're not eating...how ironic

I must say bezo, I'm not really a fan of your views

Ah, but that's the beauty of being utterly self-assured. When you're the only one whose opinion matters to you, all matters are quickly resolved.

Have a carrot, while I dine on Alberta Beef. :D

thanks for the carrot...appreciate it :D

Actually a lot of protiens and health pills made for vegetirians are actually made from animal bones and blood and they're made specifically for vegetirians quite ironic. Then again I had one friend who picked on a veg eating a pancake because it was made with an unborn chicken.

mooh eurg! moo!"

As embassador to The Disturbed Realm of Barking Bovines I wish to pass on this message from the cow inhabitants of this land concerning our current discussion on the Alberta meat trade.

Roughly translated it says....

"How would you like it if I shoved you in a stall attached cold metal sheaths to your nipples and sucked your milk out"

Now I think our bovine friends have a point. I mean, the old arguement that "cos their thick animals we can treat them anyway we like!" doesn't hold water. Hell that comes from the bible, and whether you believe in god or not, that thing was written a long time ago. I think even god may have changed his mind by now

Now - I am not a vegatarian, or a christian. I do believe that as arbitary custodians of this planet we have a duty to look after the creatures on it. This is something we should be doing for our own good.

At the same time it is something that we have never been very good at. For example, Bovine BSE is a disease that we are responsible for in a way. It was human farmers that started feeding cows offal from sheep in the form of pellets, cos it was "cheaper". It was then from this food source that Bovine BSE sprang.

BSE is something that the human race has visited upon itself, due to our predisposition to parasitic exploitation of the environment. If we were living more in harmony with our world, I think we would be a lot better off.

Even if we were all vegetarian, and messing up our environment with a monoculture of turnips, we would be no better off.
