Description: The Queen is missing......

Boardz - January 16, 2004 05:08 PM (GMT)
It is with a heavy heart that the Candian Embassy must pass on this latest news from the South Pacific.

After having recently defeated the invading armies of "Savage Lands", The Insane Nudist Colony of LadyRebels has suffered yet another tragedy. We are passing on our most sincere and heart felt condolancies to the South Pacific on behalf of all nations in the Canada Region.

Please see below for further details.

From the Freed Press of LadyRebels

This is Christiana Agulia reporting to you from the steps outside the Castel of the Queen, where reports are coming in that something has happened, an emergency Press Conferece was called.

The Sceen: The Steps of the Castel are crowded with members of the Elite Forces, we do not see any of the Queen's Lookalikes but we do see a few of her sister's lookalikes, Mistress of All Affairs Dawn, whose Twin Sister is the Senatrix Paige of The Meritocarcy. There is a poduim set up with microphones and large speakers.

Out walks a pale young woman, even from this distance it is easy to make out the freckles that cross the bridge of her nose. I am sitting about 150 yards from the podium.

She is wearing a baseball cap, jean jacket, blue jeans, and tennis shoes, her hair up under the cap, not in the customary bun of Our Queen, but hidden and up as required by the Laws of Our Land.

Her Statement is as follows.

"On this day it is my sad duty to let Our Nations and the South Pacific Region know that Our Queen is missing, we have very little to go on right, but a note was left on her desk.

*deep sigh* "Until such a time as we can figure out what is happening I will be taking over the throne for Her Ladyship, the Queen. What we do know is that she did not leave this Castel willingly. This is all that I can say on this matter. I thank you all for coming, and I do hope that we can resolve this matter soon. I will work as hard as I can for the Region, and for this Nation."

We did not get the chance to ask her any questions before she left.

We wonder what is happening, how this happened? and why did this happen?

We shall try to bring you more information as it comes avaliable.

In the meantime, if any nation has any intelligence on this matter, please pass it on to the Canadian Embassy in the South Pacific and we will see that it passed on the relevant authorities here.

Regional UN Delegate Bweezy has ordered that Bweezystan's search procedures at its borders be beefed up in search of the missing Queen. Said Prime Minister Bweezy:

"We will search high and low for the Queen within our borders. We encourage all other nations within the Region to do the same. Given the fact that Lady Rebels is an insane Nudist Colony, I encourage all law enforcement to be on the lookout for a Regal looking lady, clad in nothing more than a crown and a see through straitjacket....

Bweezystan offers its condolences to the people of Lady Rebels, and wishes them a speedy end to this crisis"

I saw her last night playing foosball. It had to be her. Al least, that's who she told be she was...

Boreal Tundra - January 17, 2004 02:40 AM (GMT)
Boreal Tundra Customs personnel have been notified and are checking all international flights, border crossings, rails and sea ports for Her Ladyship. Being as it is January, it is highly unlikely for her to be here in her normal apparel, -20 is a bit chilly for nudity, at least anything more than the quick jaunt to the hot tub.

MEMO TO ALL LEADERS OF SOUTH PACIFIC NATIONS

From the Desk of Arthur Williams: Confidential

I have reason to suspect that there may be involvement from the Contrali Resistance Movement with the kidnappings. Trust no one claiming to be from the Aurellan military. Only my Defense Bureau Chief, myself and Taylia know exactly what the plan of the Dominion is.

Art Williams

Fellow leaders and Premiers,

The crisis has taken a turn for the worse. It is now believed that the Queen of LadyRebels is infact kidnapped, rather than missing. Although the report is not confirmed it points to the Queen being taken against her will.

Therefore, please strengthen your customs controls and be aware that the queen may well have been clad to disguise her identity. We will be checking all flights and shipping from the South Pacific in an attempt to unmask her captors.

Check Las Vegas...that seems to be where "kidnapped" politicians (and maybe queens) are found wandering disoriented :)

P.S- anyone from southern Alberta should know what I am talking about for that one!

Does "Dar" still have her job? Or did they turf her?

Melissa - February 18, 2004 01:40 AM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure she still has her job, but she's going through trial. I don't see why our mayor didn't just get rid of her...she's a nutcase!

The mayor can't get rid of a councillor. In Mississauga a councillor was charged with breach of trust with overwhelming evidence. The council could not get rid of him till he was convicted. After he was convicted he appealled and was allowed to stay on. He even had the gall to run again last november and he lost miserably.

That's a stupid rule...she's obviously not fit to have any kind of influence on the run of our city, she probably doesn't even know her own name most of the time...oh yeah, and she's BAT-S$@T INSANE!!

sorry for the language...

Well, the law states that you are innocent until proven guilty. Hence, you can't get rid of most public officials based on a charge. YOu must wait until a conviction. (In Winnipeg, the rule is that once you are convicted, you are booted, even if you appeal the conviction - it happened to one of our councilors a few years back).
