The Proletariat Coalition
- The vote in favour of ties passed. An embassy was opened here, and an ambassador (Freezing Cold Water) was dispatched.
NE
- Carbanousa asked if anything had been decided.
- Ess thought that maybe a telegram should be sent to NE asking him if he wants his posting rights back.
- Checkers stated that if a permanent ban was decreed, then a tg would be sent at that time, at which point he could appeal.
- Ess thought that made sense.
- Micon asked who would send the tg, suggesting either Checkers, himself, or Drunken Hosers.
- Carb thought DH should send it.
- Micon said that was fine with him, noting that if NE appealed, he could set up the hearing.
- DH said he was OK in principle with the idea, but suggested that it didn't make sense to delete the account and then offer an appeal (which would require the account to be restored). DH suggested that NE be informed of the sentence via PM here, and the account only deleted after the resolution of the appeal (if any).
- Checkers agreed that made sense. DH sent the PM.
- DH noted that the incident had him thinking about possible changes to the legislation. He stated that he was not prepared to make a proposal yet, but was considering (among other things) separating the issues of forum bans vs. NS ejections, and possibly distinguishing non-citizen members from citizens with respect to the forums.
- Carb thought this might relate to the idea of opening up the forum to guests.
- DH posted NE's response. In summary, he accepted the "punishment", without agreeing with it. He declined to appeal the judgement. As such, DH deleted the account.
- Carb stated that NE's response was "mature" and wondered if NE had been underestimated. However, he concluded that what occurred had been the most logical course of action.
People's Revolutionary Party
- Checkers posted a telegram from Marturia, claiming to represent the People's Revolutionary Party and offering an alliance with said organization. This alliance would be contingent on Canada adding to its World Factbook Entry either "Protectorate Region of the PRP", or "Allied with the PRP".
- Checkers noted that the PRP is the "new abbreviation for the NPO".
- Cabinet voted unanimously to decline this offer.
