I note in the most recent Cabinet Report, taht there was a "possible security threat". Would the honourable minister care to elaborate? In asking this question, this honourable member understands that, for security reasons, there are limits on what the Minister can say.
To the Honourable members of the house, I shall endeavour to answer the question posed as fully as possible while retaining anonimity to those involved parties, as well as retaining Regional Security.
The issue was concerning the recent Election and appointment of Deputy Ministers. The specifics, as best can be explained, were concerning the application to one of the three sensative Deputy Ministerial positions. There was a connection with a Region with which relations have been strained recently.
Following a thorough investigation however, no threat was recognised or identified.
Perhaps it was a case of paranoia based security. History has proven caution to be the most prudent course of action in all cases, and this situation was an opportunity to exercise such caution.
I hope that this answers the Honourable Members question satisfactorily.
Why don't you just say there was concern over Oilers Fans being deputy minister...
Geesh!
Are you sure you don't work for the liberals, or Bill Clinton?
I can categorically state that it was not Oilers Fans.
