Are there any new intiatives that either of you, as minister of justice, would undertake. For example, there be any changes to the constitution, etc.

I currently think we have a decent sytem going. Over my last 2 terms we have implemented the board use guidelines, conflict of interest guidelines, dispute resolution and cabinet disclosure legislation.

As always legislation changes as the needs change. Over this term I plan to look into each of these pieces of legislation and see if we need to make changes. These amendments will be done to clean up loopholes or problem areas that may be identified during the next term.

If time permits I plan to enhance the dispute resolution mechanism as we need to have a system that is known by all members of the forum.

As always, I am always open to suggestions. This is a team effort and I plan to encourage that system. First and foremost I will open a suggestion thread in the MoJ forum to encourage some suggestions.
