Title: What is griefing?

I'm not sure how familiar you are with NS, so please don't get offended if I tell you things you already know.

In Nation States, the delegate of a region has access to a special screen that allows them to exert control over the region. On this screen, the world fact book entry can be changed, a password to enter the region can be created, and nations can be kicked out of the region, placing them on a ban list, barring them from entering the region.

When a region is "griefed", the delegate kicks everyone out of the region, places a password on the region, and finally kicks him/herself out. This makes it impossible for the region to be saved, and since there are no nations in the region, the game automatically deletes the region during the daily game update, done at the NS server.

This is why it is so important to be careful who we allow to be delegate.

Thanks for the inquiry.

For those of you who are interested, check out this link. Note: don't bother trying to change anything, as you will not have access to this screen. Only founders and delegates, if the founder permits, can have access to this screen.

Note the banned nation's list.
