As was announced in the Minister of Justice's forum, earlier today, Bweezy has been suspended from Government for a period of five days. As Deputy Minister of Regional Affairs, I will be acting as Minister during this period. This is a temporary situation, which will last less than the seven day period mandated by the Constitution, so there is no need to appoint a new Deputy Minister.

In light of DH's exemplary performance as MRA over the last few days, and in light of my desire to take it easy, I hereby step down as Minister of Regional Affairs. I call on everyone to congratulate DH as our new MRA. I know he will continue to do an exceptional job.

My plan, as I told Captain Checkers, was to cease being one of her deckhands, and instead move down to the Tourist deck, hang out by the pool, play some shuffleboard, and do some deepsea fishing off of the back. I'll still be around, messing around on all the forums. It's just that given the solid core of high profile nations we have here, I don't feel the need or desire to stay in government - The region's in good hands now, regardless of my participation. In fact, I'd be inclined to say the region is in better shape without my volatile personna in government :)

I'm sorry to see you go, Bweezy, but I can certainly appreciate a desire to take it easy. Thanks to you, and the rest of Cabinet for your confidence in me. I will endeavour to be worthy of it.

Our school entered a competition once, where at the suggestion of the Pirates-obsessed person, we printed out two photos of Depp (one in movie and one not) and made that our flag. (This was inspired by the event itself, which called "Pirates of the Carribean". And you could donate your "Aztec gold pieces" a.k.a loonies to the Johnny Depp Fan Club too... BTW it was organized by a university.) But unfortunately, the flag was misplaced and at the last minute, a flag was made out of a suicide helpline card we got in CAPP class. Sorry Maik!
