Title: Lisana enters the temple, head bowed...

Lisana - November 16, 2003 07:49 PM (GMT)
...muttering thanks to the Element of fire. She is a fire magess, and rather good when it comes to fire and shielding, hence, she needs to keep that fire in her alive, by thanking the fire, the creator of fire, and the users of fire, for her gift. She reaches the flaming alter, and kneels on one knee, praying, mutterinf incantations of fire, her eyes closed. From the back, she would just look like a hunched over figure, draped in green, twitching occasionally.

The altar, of a black onyx stone, had several types of fire playing over it. Lisana knew each type of fire, how to summon it, cast it, and control it, everywhere except here. Here the magic was too strong to be tampered with, she had even had to tone down her magical shielding to enter, not wanting to disturb anything.

The room itself was illuminated only by fire, the walls of simple stone, no furniture of any sort, whatsoever, visible in the room. There were only a few flaming brackets on the walls, letting the corners fall into deep, dark shadows. The room was pillared, the pillars of that same black, onyx stone, falling to darkness as they rise, the ceiling unseen, though the room itself isnt acually that high.

Eventually, after what seems like an age of worshipping, Lisana rises to her fees again, raising her head and opening her fiery green eyes, which sparkled in enjoyement. She loved this place, that much was evident, as she stood, infront of the alter, singing quietly, watching the dancing flames, over the black, shiny surface.

Lucicorn - November 22, 2003 06:32 PM (GMT)
*Enters the temple.*
"Hi there. I thought this place was deserted. Oh well, the more the merrier."
He kneels in front of a golden statue thanking the god for granting him the power of fire. He has firery red eyes that show that he is ready for action at all times. With red hair, that makes it look like his head is on fire. He wears red armor, and a sword at his side. He can control all forms of fire, as well as fire creatures. He has some of a temper which comes with the territory of being blessed with fire. Though his temper can turn into a fiery rage in battle. For the most part he has control over it, but it can get in the way if he becomes emotional. Which he tries to stay away from. He can be a great ally or a fearsome enemy. It depends on which way you push him. He finishes his praying, and looks at the woman standing next to him. "Are you going to stand there all day?" He stands and whatches her.
(This is my first fire elemental, so feel free to give me tips. In fact, I just came up with this character.)

Lisana - November 22, 2003 10:20 PM (GMT)
{Its great, very fiery. ^_~ You've met Lenhine, my version of a fire elemental? Shes Emerald/
Lisanas fire elemental.}

Lisana watches the man, startled. He was obvoisly {sp? I never could spell that word...} a fire elemental, you didnt have to be smart to work that one out. He had the fiery looks, temper, she could feel it, and outright rudeness. "Well, no. Obviously not. Are you?" She shot back at him, not her usual, cautious self.

Her left hand, however, had moved to the hilt of saenia protectively, more than offensively. She waited, cat like, for him to move or reply. She didnt want a fight, she never did. But what difference had it ever made?

Her fiery gaze now settled wholly on the mans own eyes, as she faced him steadily. She was ready for whatever he threw at her; in this temple, for once, she wasnt the shaky, nervous, suspicious fire magess, but the defiant one she liked to see herself as.

Lucicorn - November 23, 2003 12:16 AM (GMT)
Well, I don't know. Kinda like it here, Though I would like to get outside. I don't even know your name! Mine's Tanis! Now there's no need for that! *points at dagger.* I know that you aren't going to hurt me, not that you could anyways. *he mumbles.* Anyways, I need some air. Tanis explodes in flame and dissapears, leaving a scorch mark on the temple floor.
(Thanx, My char. is really energetic so he talks fast too. He is kinda rude also. Sorry it is just his nature.*shrugs.*)

Lisana - November 23, 2003 08:53 PM (GMT)
{I know. I dont mind. She does. -points to ill, grumpy Lisana-}
Lisana watches, her hand staying on the hilt of the -sword- called saenia. {Her throwing daggers are in her robes} "I would have hurt him, if I had to. And I could have, if I needed to..." she mumbles to herself, watching the man leaving. Thank god hes gone... she thought to herself, going back, muttering several more enchantments over her self; the fire ones were strengthened here. She felt the watmth from saenia creep up her fingers as her own fire magic was replenished, and Lisana bowed her head in thanks again.

Lucicorn - November 24, 2003 05:12 PM (GMT)
Outside Tanis waits for Emerald. He doesn’t like to wait for people, but he doesn’t like to be alone either. He wonders wether or not he made a good first impression. He often does that to people , being rude and all that other stuff that he does. But it is who he is ! He can’t change that! But sometimes it effects other people. Though it is a good thing that he has control over his temper.

Lisana - November 24, 2003 10:43 PM (GMT)
After a while, Lisana, used to adventure and excitement, got bored of worship. Sure, it was all good and well, but it was boring. Besides, she needed to find a healer. Her breathing was loud and raspy, and the coughing fits were getting regular. She felt the familiar tightenting of her chest, and gulped down air to hold it back. She didnt feel like coughing at the moment; her throat was raw, she had no water, and her chest hurt. She opened the door and felt the blast of freezing air in comparison to the heat of the temple. The blast hit her full in the face, forcing her to take a sharp, deep, intake of breath. This sounded, to her, much like a foghorn, her throat was so raspy. "Christ..." she grumbled, her voice as raspy as her breathing at the moment. She didnt even see Tanis as she closed the door behind her and turned back to walk down the steps. She halted though, to 'catch her breath' Ha, fat chance of that.

Lucicorn - November 26, 2003 05:02 PM (GMT)
Tanis sees Lisana. Hey! so what is your name? You don't look too good. maybe you should see a healer. I could use one too. *Shows a bloody gash in the back of his leg.* Take this. *hands lisana a bottle filled with a red liquid.* This will spark the fire in you again. Tanis looks at Lisana with worried eyes, but doesn't show it. He cares for all of the Earth's creatures, even if he doesn't know their names.

Lisana - November 26, 2003 07:54 PM (GMT)
Lisana look at the bottle distrustfully. "I'm not as dumb as I look. And I know I need a healer. If you want, I could cocoon your wound until you find one. I'm not going to take a bottle of something from a complete stranger, whats more drink it. And I'm called Lisana... well, Lady Lisana of Vudro." Lisana says in her throaty voice. low and raspy, shivering slightly. She stares at the man now, ignoring the potion totally. "And who are you?"

Lucicorn - November 29, 2003 05:24 PM (GMT)
"I already told you my name. Tanis! The blaze kid! Do you want me to try the potion first?" Tanis drinks some of the red liquid. He then jumps 50 feet into the air in a red blaze. "See? It wont hurt you! And look. " *Shows the back of his leg.* The gash is is on fire and healing majically. Tanis turns back to Lisana and smiles. "You can trust me. We fire people have to stick toghether. Well, I guess we don't have to stick together, but it is nice. That's why I travel with my friend here. Come on out, Pepper!" Out of his pocket flies out, somewhat clumsily, a small dragon. It is bright red with spikey skin, and a tail that has what looks like an arrowhead at the tip. On its head are three beautiful sparkly white horns going down the center of its face starting at the top of its face to the end of it, with the horns going small to large. "I introduce to you, Pepper! Isn't she cute?" The little dragon choughs out a small flame.

Lisana - November 30, 2003 10:51 AM (GMT)
"Indeed she is. By who are you I didnt mean name... never mind." Lisana shifts about a little, gulping down more air. She needed to get away from this man, the coughing fits were too vigorous. It would scare him, and if he caught whatever she had she'd have only herself to blame. "You still need to find a healer for that wound. You need to get it checked out." She gesures one hand in the direction of his leg, the fiery healng well underway. "Not everything is healed as soon as it looks to be. And if you walk the world with the false impression that all beaings of fire are not going to attack at a glance, I pity you."

Lucicorn - December 1, 2003 05:17 PM (GMT)
If I must see a healer I will, If it will make you feel better. That cough isn't too enjoyful now is it? Do you know where the nearest healer is? I could take you there?

Lisana - December 1, 2003 05:50 PM (GMT)
"The only healer I know, and trust, is far away in the town of Vudro. Let me see the wound, I have slight skill in that area... well, enough to keep me alive." her voice shakes slightly now, as she feels the cough coming faster. "How about I meet you in 5 minutes or so back in the temple... theres something I have to do." she says, her flimsy excuse for a few minutes alone.

Lucicorn - December 2, 2003 04:59 PM (GMT)
Don't need to tell me twice. Tanis jumps through near trees leaving Lisana. He stops and turns around. He looks back on the coughing woman and decides that he should go to Vudro and come back with the healer. He explodes in flames and dissapears.

Lisana - December 2, 2003 07:48 PM (GMT)
{Ida is part of another RP, she wouldnt come here, she wouldnt leave the palace. o.O Leave Lisana to be her stubborn self.}

Lisana falls to the floor, unable to hold herself upright any longer. The coughs wrench at her lungs, almost feeling like they are tearing them out. She squeezes herself into a little ball, trying to supress the coughing. Several minutes later, they subside, and she stumbles through the doors to the temple. Her breathing was raspier than ever, and her chest was killing her. She sat down near the altar and waited for Tanis to return.

Lucicorn - December 3, 2003 05:05 PM (GMT)
While traveling to vudro Tanis senses that Lisana is in trouble. He doesn't know what to do. He could still go to Vudro, but then Lisana might die! What should I do? Tanis knows that he must act now if he was going to do either one! He quickly decides that there wasn't enought time to retrieve the healer, fear that Lisana may not be there when he gets back. Tanis, after several minutes of running to the temple, finally reaches it not seeing Lisana anywhere outside he runs in to the temple.I hope it is not to late. He soon reaches the inner part of the temple in hope of finding her. There she was. Lying on the stone floor curled in a ball, coughing. Are you all right? That was a stupid question! Tanis quickly starts praying to the fire god. Putting his full energy into this so that it will help Lisana. I don't even know her name!He thinks as he prays, and gives a sort of laugh.

Lisana - December 4, 2003 05:38 PM (GMT)
Lisana nods slightly, the coughs slowing down, getting less vigorous. A s-slight cough." she stutters, her voice low and raspy. She pats the altar base next to her as she sits upright. "Have a seat."

{She told you her name earlier. ...And I'm called Lisana... well, Lady Lisana of Vudro." Lisana says in her throaty voice. low and raspy, shivering slightly. She stares at the man now, ignoring the potion totally. "And who are you?"}

Lucicorn - December 5, 2003 05:01 PM (GMT)
Well, why did you want to come back? We should get you to Vudro as soon as possible!(Sorry, forgot. What about the URL to Mystical Elements!)

Lisana - December 6, 2003 01:53 PM (GMT)
"I dont know... I dont know anything anymore... auch... my chest hurts... anyway, Vudro is no place for me at the moment... you may leave if you dont want to be here..." her sentences are disjionted and shaky... she sounds confused, as she is. She is trying to figure why she was here in the first place, and why indeed she had run from Vudro. She didnt remember anything, she just knew she couldnt go back yet... something was messing with her mind, she could tell.

Lucicorn - December 7, 2003 10:17 PM (GMT)
Why are you here? What did you come back to the temple for?

Lisana - December 8, 2003 05:46 PM (GMT)
"I came to worship.. then I decided I had no where else to go in a rush, so I came back. Its nice here, see?" She shrugs noncommitedly,m and wondered to herself why she did come back here. Her raspy breathing annoyed her, but over the past few weeks she had grown to live with it. She looks down to the floor, and sees her own eyes reflected. "Who keeps this place clean?" she wonders, randomly, out loud.

Lucicorn - December 10, 2003 05:02 PM (GMT)
[B]That still doesn't explain your cough, but I won't bug you about it. In answer to your question. My brothers and sisters come every morining to scour this place clean. Do they do a good job? They should, there are nine of them.

Lisana - December 10, 2003 10:03 PM (GMT)
"There is no explanation- its a common cough. And your siblings do indeed do well... onyx is extremely hard to keep clean." she admires the black, shiny surface in awe- she barely over used onyx- it was just too hard to look good with it, it got dirty so easily. Also, it didnt really conduct fire all that well, and she needed a good light energy source aswell. Black didnt do well.

Lucicorn - December 12, 2003 05:27 PM (GMT)
Hmmmm... I cannot stand still any longer, even if it is in a temple. I must go outside!

Lisana - December 13, 2003 10:15 AM (GMT)
"Indeed, I used to be like that. Still am, truthfully. But illnesses and duties hold me back... bleh, duties. I hate them. Go, if you want. If you need, that is." she sighs heavily, feeling her own need for adventure, movement, something to do. But she could't, she had to stay put for a while. Physically, she wasn't able to carry on, but mentally, she was more than. It was awful torture of the worst kind, and she wished she were back being hunted or ANYTHING, any excuse to get moving.

Lucicorn - December 16, 2003 05:26 PM (GMT)
Tanis is still pacing the temple. Through the entrance comes a small girl with long maroon hair, wearing a small simple, dress. You must come back! Ginger is in trouble! Come! Quickly! Tanis starts following the girl out of the temple at a quick, pace.

Lisana - December 16, 2003 05:43 PM (GMT)
Lisana, curiously worried, rises to her feet, swooping after them with her flying robes. Her chest didn't agree, but she ignored the wrenching pain that would normally have sent her sprawling on the ground. She had a purpose now- an aim. And a little hex on her- she had figured that out- was not going to stop her. Once she was a little way behind them, yet able to keep them in sight and stay close enough to see what was going on, and hear a little, she slowed to their pace. ~dreams, do I need more exercise...~ she thought bitterly to herself, as she gasped for air. ~keep the task in mind, someones hurt, you want to help if you can, or atleast see why... they seem innocent.... they must be family.~

Lucicorn - December 17, 2003 05:20 PM (GMT)
Tanis continues at a quickening pace, following the child. Tell me what happened, Clara. "It's Ginger! She's always getting into trouble! I warned her, but she headed straight for it! She is so stupid!" Slow down, Clara. Tell me what kind of trouble she is in. "We were playing in the Tralena forest----"The tralena forest! You know you shouldn't be in there! "Yes, well we did, sowe were there when Ginger saw a small hole covered by some grass and brush. She pulled it aside and went right in! Even after I warned her! I came straight here to tell you what had happened. I yelled down to her, but no answer came back. She might've fallen and broken her leg or something!" We'll get there soon so stop being so worried.

Lisana - December 19, 2003 10:02 AM (GMT)
Lisana hears snatches of the conversation, and doesn't like what she hears. Forests that were generally banned were the sort of places she lived- the curses were repelled, the monsters often slain or run from. She had to live in those types of places, towns and other civilisations generally weren't that fond to see her. Yet, she followed them silently save the occasional rusting of her robes of a gasp if a particularly painful breath hit her. She stumbled a few times, but she was still quiet.

Lucicorn - December 19, 2003 05:23 PM (GMT)
They approach the forest. They enter into the dark green trees. There is a shimmer of sunlight as they walk through, but not nearly enough to see a hole on the ground or a small girl. Do you want to try and make it a little brighter this time?He says to Clara. Clara nods and closes her eyes. Some seconds later a small flame appears in her hand. Good, now lets look for your sister. They search through the brush for the dark hole Ginger fell into. Clara leads Tanis to the place that they were at. They find the dark hole, and Tanis decideds to make some more light. A large ball of fire appears and floats on his hand. Alright, lets go in.He jumps into the hole while motioning for Clara to follow.

Lisana - December 19, 2003 09:56 PM (GMT)
Lisana, seeing them jump down the hole, waits a while before following- she didn't know wether they knew or would like the fact that she was following. When she thought they would have moved onwards she springs cat-like into the hole, looking out for their light, glad they were making themselves easy to follow. Though, she'd have to teach them later that that was that wasn't a very good idea atall. Her robes rustled in the breeze, and her chest heaved. "Note to self, never jump down unseen, dark holes when you have a cough. Infact, dont jump atall when you have a cursed cough..." she mumbled raspily to herself, painful and heaving.

Lucicorn - December 22, 2003 06:33 PM (GMT)
Tanis carefully grabs onto a foot hold in the hole and catches Clara as she falls past him. Are you ok Clara? "Yes, you know I am older than you think I am. I can take care of myself." That is why you came running to me when Ginger came down here? Tanis jumps off the wall and falls more, with Clara close behind. The tunnel starts to slant down so that they are now sliding through it. The light now hovering above their heads. Tanis hears a noise, but two seconds later they are flung into the air and land on a cold stone floor. They kneel there, panting.

Lisana - December 22, 2003 08:55 PM (GMT)
Lisana, being practical, dug her nails into the earthen slopes of the 'tunnel' or 'slide' so that she didn't slip, and stood at the mouth once she had scrambled down far enough. She watched them carefully, silently, looking at the stone floor. Thats gotta hurt... she thought to herself as she thought how hard they must have fallen. Lucky... she thought, They dont seem to have spotted me yet.

Lucicorn - December 29, 2003 05:53 PM (GMT)
Tanis and Clara stand up. The fire gone after the fall. Everything is dark, so Tanis creates another ball of fire to float next to them, this one bigger and brighter, illuminating the whole room they were in. The light now revealed Lisana. Tanis turns around and looks at her. "Did you like the ride?" He turns to Clara and asks her if she is alright. She nods. Tanis looks around the underground room. There are three different open doorways. Beyond them is only darkness. Tanis walks to the doorway straight ahead of him and Clara follows. He examines the doorway and sees symbols that are unknown to him. Tanis and Clara continue through the doorway into the next room.

Lisana - December 29, 2003 07:31 PM (GMT)
"It was no ride, more of a climb, for careful old me." she says, bitter that she was spotted. Following, still a distance behind in case, she watches them carefully, keeping her silence. She didnt want to put herself, or them, in any more danger than needed. She did, however, want to know what was going on. 'Curiosity killed the cat', yet 'curiosity saved Lisana'. But not now, not when there seemed to be so much at stake. Not when her chest hurt this much.

Lucicorn - December 30, 2003 09:08 PM (GMT)
B) B) :rolleyes: <_< :( :angry: :) :blink: :ph43r: (That last one was me. :rolleyes: :D :huh: :o ;) )

Lisana - January 1, 2004 06:59 PM (GMT)
{kk, got it}
Lisana, following slowly, cautiously behind, saw the creatures with a start. "Holy crap..." she mumbled to herself, watching in fear as the creatures multiplied. She stood in the doorway between the rooms, and was trying to figure out what the creatures were, so she could pinpoint their weakness. "I've never seen or heard of anything like these creatures..." she thought aloud, quietly, wrinkling her nose to the stench. However, having smelt things much worse, and remembering with a shiver, she kept on breathing.

Praying to several gods, the most muttered being the light and fire gods, she unsheathes her sword, Saenia. This would not only be close combat, she would most likely be... injured, if not dead. As soon as her silver, glowing blade reached the air, out of the sheath, three types of fire sprang up on the blade, coarsing along, lightling up the glowing blade even more. Each fire was a different colour, each for a different purpose. One colour was the usual Red, for Burning magic. The next was Blue, for freezing magic. The last was a deep Purple, almost black, for Draining magic.

Suddenly, the sword emitted a bang and a blast of light, the blade held to the sky by Lisanas pale hands, gripping the crystal hilt. The light was so bright Lisana had had to close her eyes momentarily. She guessed now the monsters would swarm around her, and cursed herself for blocking the way out. The light stayed, a bright sense of hope for Lisana, as she raised her pearly white magical shielding, a single sphere of protection between her and the monsters. Every now and then, as she stood, prepaed, seeming lightning snaked across the surface of the shielding, and though it looked strong, she knew it wouldn't last forever.

Her hood remained up for all of this time, but inside her small bubble of safety a fierce wind coursed about, and eventually it was blown down. Her pale, slim face was revealed, her small lips and nose bared. Her eyes had flickeredfrom green flames to a bright, fierce orange-red. She was ready for battle, and they could throw what they had at her. She was hoping she would distract the monsters from the pair, else she'd have to lay into them with the siblings trapped, and that was never good. She only hoped that Tanis and Clara had weapons, else they were pretty much doomed. What of their sister, she didn't know. She couldn't have come down here, yet she couldn't NOT have come down here. Lisana didn't like to think about it.

Lucicorn - January 5, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)
Tanis and Clara still pressed against the wall as far away as they could from the disgusting creatures. Recovered from the sudden appearance, Tanis unseathes his weapon from the crimson seath which held it. It's name is Zar'roc from a demigod of fire. The blade was forged by his fathers heart of flame. When he died, there was a blast from underneath their house. Hidden in a small hole, in it's crimson seath and a yellow scroll. The scroll read that the sword was formed from the molten core of a volcano, and that his father had used the last of his elemental power to give it the strength and magic that his son would need. Tanis took the sword and blessed it with his tears that came from the sorrow of his father's death. (Now back to the battle!!!!) Unseathed, the blade shone clearly. It is red with four runes inscribed on the middle of the blade. The blade never rusts or stains with blood. Tanis holds it steadily infront of himself. If you want to have fun with us, then we will first have to settle our business. Tanis summons a wall of flame to protect Clara. Stay here. If you find power than don't use it! Just stay behind the wall. The creatures farthest back of the group leaped forward, clubs in hand. Tanis leaps forward and slashes at the chest of the one closest. The blade glides smoothly in his hand, as he cuts into the hearts of the creatures. The blade bursts into flame as his anger grows. The creatures swing their clubs with fatal blows. Tanis blocks with Zar'roc. He says four words in an unknown language. The torches that line the wall blast streams of flame down at the fiends in a neverending blaze. They cry in pain as well as Tanis because the stench is now worsened by the burning flesh. Clara watches with fear, protected by the wall of flame. She wishes to help, but knows not how to weild a weapon, or use the power blessed upon her by the fire godess.

Lisana - January 6, 2004 08:36 PM (GMT)
Lisana watches Tanis silently, without making a move. She knows the worst thing to do now is start in from this side, else they'd be fighting from the centre, and that was the best position. Instead she kept her eye out for anyone that bore a likeness to Tanis or Clara, someone that could be their sister.

She did, of course, have to slay the odd creature that came running her way, spotting her. Nothing had yet stopped her search for their sister however. Yet, Lisanas height, being shorter than most of the beings in here, didn't help her view any better. Yet, she said nothing, and did nothing save a few spells to grip the hearts of nearby evil in hands of raw fire. One of the spells she was more proud of.

Lucicorn - January 7, 2004 05:23 PM (GMT)
Tanis moves in between the monsters in a bloody wave of destruction. The flame on the blade grows until it was the size of a person. Suddenly the flame takes shape and out of it comes a boy! The boy was slightly smaller than Tanis, but was fairly similar. The boy has spiked, orange hair. His eyes glow with the same passion that you can see in Tanis. As soon as the boy realized what was happening, he jumps in the air and unseathes two swords. He flips and jumps on two of the creatures heads. He then stabs them in their heads and says to Tanis, "No hello?" Tanis smiles lightly then continues his furious slashing, his blade's flame small again.
