:blink: a friend of mine has told me that these pokemons:latios and latias can be caught...(latios in Sapphire and latias in Ruby)...where i can find them?i just have the sapphire version...help me :(

Southern Island. The ticket to go there could only be gotten through promotional events.

That's not true. The Deoxys and the Jiriichi are the ones you can't catch unless through promotional events. Latias/Latios can be caught in any grass after beating the elite 4/the champ. Once you've seen them once, it's easy to find them again, because of the pokedex area thing.

since the previous answers were a little confusing, the main point is that you can only get Latias in Sapphire and Latios in Ruby. I don't think you can get them both in one game.

in Ruby, you can catch Latios (the blue one). in Sapphire, you can catch Latias (the red one). they appear only when you are the Pokemon League Champion. they are much like the legendary beasts--they appear randomly in random grass.

I've heard that they appear in the grassy areas, but I swore that I saw Latios in my Ruby while surfing. I still haven't been able to find Latias in my Sapphire, any tips on where to look. I saved my master ball but have so far had no luck finding him.

:D I am proud to say that i have seen Latias exactly 3 times! Haven't caught her yet... But yes, you can see her/him while surfing, walking, fishing and going underwater. I've seen Latias in all these places except fishing, but i've heard...
