The Announcements Forum used to only be visible when you weren't logged in. Now that you are required to log in, you cant see it. You may want to fix that
how so. You can't see anything, if you aren't logged in...
There's a solution to that. All you have to do is allow guests to see your forums. Then, you set the forums individually so that guests can't see them. You leave it so that the Announcements forum is visible to guests.
Thus, guests will be able to see announcements only! The question is, is this what Strider wants?
