Title: Yu-Gi-Oh
Chrowme - May 25, 2003 07:30 PM (GMT)
This is where you can post the latest news on Yu-Gi-Oh!
The Battle City Tournament Finals will be a clash of the God Cards!
Zephyrion - May 25, 2003 07:54 PM (GMT)
If you read all of the posts, you'll notice that not many people are interested in Yu-Gi-Oh in this Forum. That's sad, because Yu-Gi-Oh has a lot of good stuff to offer, burried under the sand dunes of deviant artwork.
Latios 007 - May 30, 2003 12:11 AM (GMT)
I like Yu-gi-oh! I don't talk about it much 'cause no one else does.

That's mean!!! And besides, it's EXODIA!!!
Imaku - June 8, 2003 11:33 PM (GMT)
Exodia's over-rated, and the majority of the online Yu-Gi-Oh community agrees. Besides, anyone can bad-mouth and put-down Yu-Gi-Oh as much as they want, I don't care. The things they make fun of are frivilous anyway.
For me, Yu-Gi-Oh is all about the strategy. It has a lot in common with Pokemon, too, if no one minds me saying so.

Don't mind TL from SD. Anyone see how Marik turned COMPLETELY evil and got a new and funky hair-do? It reminds me of Super Sayans in Dragonball Z!

about the cards, my favorite that I have is Gemini Elf. Gotta love the Gemini Elves :)
IceBlue - June 17, 2003 03:20 AM (GMT)
blue eyes ultimate white dragon... and a cyber-stein to special summon it... (I think Cyber-Stein is the right card...) B)
Latios 007 - June 17, 2003 02:45 PM (GMT)
Red-Eyes Black Dragon looks so cool. Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon rocks. Baby Dragon is sooo cute. In case you haven't noticed, I love dragons. Whether they're in Yu-Gi-Oh! or not.
Yami Yugi - June 17, 2003 06:27 PM (GMT)
What abot the other gods in case if you were wondering they changed the names of the god cards their real names were
Obelisk the Water God
Osiris The Fire God
and
Ra the Sun God
don't the names remind you of the acient egyptians??

That's the strategy Kaiba uses in Eternal Duelist Soul. It takes 5000 life points from him, though, and I could always just get those remaining 3000 with a Blast Sphere.
Stinger, the last time I checked, Gemini Elf is not an American card. It is featured inside the video games and there's a Japanese version of it, but an American version of that card doesn't exist in real life. Therefore, it's not allowed in American tournaments... too bad, though. That card has some wickedly high ATT points for a level 4 card...
Stinger - June 17, 2003 11:48 PM (GMT)
Gemini Elf is english :)

For all those who don't know, the god cards are out in Canada and U.S.A.!
The back of the god cards are different, though. The backs are their colour, like Obelisk has a blue backing to the card. The difference between American and Canadian is that Canadian cards have a swirl and American cards have something different. I don't know what because I've never seen American cards.
Latios - June 29, 2003 10:16 PM (GMT)
Atually in Japan They are not for sale
Chrowme - July 2, 2003 10:57 PM (GMT)
Oh yes they are, Mister. I've seen them with my own pair of eyes. You don't believe me? Then don't. But the god cards ARE out in English. Just you wait and see.
valentinolaney - July 13, 2003 02:27 PM (GMT)
I watch Yu-Gi-Oh and at the beginning it was kind of boring, but now it's getting better and more interesting. I don't really collect the cards tough, I only have a Blue Eyes White Dragon card. The rest of my trading cards are all Pokemon.
Chrowme - July 17, 2003 07:00 PM (GMT)
That's great! I hope you like the series more and more, because it is an awesome anime.

It depends on what part you think is European. Yu-Gi-Oh was drawn by people from Japan, and is based on Egypt. Now there is a Yu-Gi-Oh game that is based on Europe, if that is what you mean.

Yes, the god cards
are for sale - but it is also true that they aren't allowed in the official tournaments. I think the reason is that the back of the cards don't say Konami or Yu-Gi-Oh. Also, the front of the cards have Japanese at the bottom left corner. I would always play against the god cards so that I am prepared for nearly anything. If you still don't believe me, check out the official site at

Chrowme - July 25, 2003 12:38 AM (GMT)
Gemini Elves rock! Now only if I could get my hands on even one of them... <_<
Rayquaza - July 25, 2003 12:45 AM (GMT)

I dont really thought about playing with them
Chrowme - July 25, 2003 12:55 AM (GMT)
Just to let you know, they're really good for opening but when you're in the middle of a duel, it will depend if your opponent has a strong monster on the field or not.
