I'm into the game. If the core game idea isn't good, the game won't be worth investing in.
I kinda lost interest because I didn't have any opponents. Who cares if you've got the best deck in the world and nobody to play against?
If we can get some kind of tourney going on, we might be able to revive the game.

were you ever very interested in it? In some areas it was the cards that were popular, and in some places, it was the game that was popular. In some cases it was both :). Me, when the TCG first came out, I was into that, but now it's all about the game ^_^

I had a whole lot of opponents...... but they didnt know how to play the correct way....

the only reason i got into Pokemon TCG was for one card:
Here Comes Team Rocket!
im a die-hard Team Rocket fan. when i learned about the card i wanted it, and wanted it badly. so for a while i was only collecting Team Rocket cards. later i started getting into other series.
now i have an awesome card collection! almost all of them are in mint condition, except for some that my friend Tim gave me. i have almost the complete set of TR cards (most 1st edition, including Dark Raichu), and many other cards. i have a lot of promos! oh and i have a bunch of awesome Jumbo Cards.
lately i havent been getting more cards. mainly because im saving my money for GC and GBA games. and they were making too many cards, it was confusing.
i used to play the game, but then i got more into collecting. i still play my Pokemon TCG GBC game though lol.
i might take pictures of them.

They reintroduced the classic cards in a recent set. That's how I got my first Charizard; from a preconstructed Deck! If you have some Venusaurs, Pokemon Breeders, and Beedrill, then you can make a cool Venuzard deck that pulls off Fire Spin 2-5 times in a row! The deck really burns, but I don't have the cards I need.
Maybe we can make some suggestions for those of us that play the Game Boy TCG game.

I think I'll contact the guy that wrote GSBot. Maybe he can teach me how to program an automated Bot computer.
