first of all, making a thread about catching Rayquaza is pointless. second, if the thread was made to ask about Relicanth thats whats the title should have been.

ive caught Relicanth, and i got lucky with him too...not only was he holding a Green Shard, but he had the better of his two Abilities, Rock Head. i found him while diving, i dont remember exactly where. you can find him on Routes 124 - 126 on the ocean floor.
and you should really consider finding this Pokemon even if you dont really have any interest in it, because you need one to unlock the Regis.

wow, my first thread lived on even longer than I did, anywho to somehow relate this back to the orignial post, My Relicanth that i caught like three days later had rock head, and every other Reli I've caught did too, whats his other ability?

Try scrolling up and reading what I posted about the Relicanth I caught.

RayQuaza3: Relicanth's other Ability is Swift Swim, which just raises its speed when it's raining.

omg here is the 'save ur master ball' way of catching rayquaza when u only got lvl 60 pkmn

get swellow and hopefully train to about lvl 60 (closer is better cuz u need high speed to attack first at rayquaza thats wut swellow is, speed:)
make it learn endeavor (reduces enemy hp to swellow's hp)
go get it poisoned (the easiest move to poison is poison sting, which u can find from low lvl tentacool by surf) but make sure u got a antidote first
walk around or surf until swellow is 1 hp then antidote it
if endeavor is 0 pp DO NOT go to the pkmn center use 2 ppups (cmon dont be stingy this is a RAYQUAZA were looking at here and its far better than wasting a master ball u can keep to taunt ur friends that used it) u NEED to use endeavor 2 times
give quick claw item to swellow
if u can, while training swellow, give it carbos and train ONLY speed evs (electric pkmn have these evs often i know that sux electric> flying)
get to rayquaza and SAVE (remember, quick claw gives a CHANCE for speed gain)
hope you can use endeavor first, if not , reset
rayquaza, at 1 hp. now pray that it uses rest
if it does, use endeavor again
if not, reset
now its sleeping AND at 1 hp. this makes ultra balls much easier. if he awakes, ur luck is dry.

or u can cheat like i did for my friend and give him my info, letting him use repeat balls

this also works with latios/latias, but u gotta use a sableye with mean look AND endeavor, hoping sableye is faster.

now how to get those 2 ppups back
