thats not true, neither Latios nor Latias can be found on the Battle Tower in either version. first of all i think you are confusing the Battle Tower with the Sky Tower. second, you find Rayquaza on the Sky Tower.

the real facts:

in Ruby, Latios can be found in the wild after you become the Pokemon League Champion. Latias can be found at Southern Island, which Nintendo hasnt held an event to unlock it yet.
in Sapphire its the same, except vice-versa...Latias is found in the wild and Latios is on Southern Island.

hey im new to these boards.

heres my little tip if you have trouble catching them.

use wobufett. he has the sp ability shadow tag which prevents escape. make sure its in the 35-40 level range, and when latios/latias attacks, counter it and it will double. dont use master ball just keep throwing ultra balls like mad crazy. (i know a trick to duplicate items).
