Please help me find the salamence, I cannot find where they live

you cant catch a Salamence, you have to catch his basic form. you find Bagon in Meteor Falls, in the little room with the TM Dragon Claw.

I think you find Shelgon in Meteor Falls by Fallarbor town. I haven't caught one myself, so I'm not 100% sure.

you cant catch a Shelgon, only Bagon.
