Title: Help need to catch KYOGRE with correct pokeball

I tried the net ball and the ultraball and they did not work, do I need to make it weak first?
How did anyone get this pokemon?

listen, dont make new threads when there is already a thread that you could have put this in.
and you are just not patient. and obviously, you need to make it weak first. i got Kyogre only using a few Ultra Balls, while it had HP in the red and was Paralyzed.

just bring him down to as low health as u can and then throw tons and tons of net and ultra balls, after every 10balls or so, throw a timer, then restart again

my Kyogre was surprisingly easy to catch. All you need is about 20-25 ultra balls and pokemon that are Lv.40+. Like Faleira said, if you slowly bring down it's HP, you should be able to catch it. I recommend saving right before you battle it, that way you can try it again if you mess up.

Don't they run when you see them or something? I feel they'd be a better use for that Master Ball, because you can keep trying to catch Kyogre/Groudon if you fail, but Latios/Latias are much harder to catch because they appear randomly.
