Try training a Ralts, it can learn Hypnosis at level 51 if you evolve it to a Gardevoir. ;)

shroomish learns spore at level 54, or something around that
Champion Nick - April 22, 2003 11:42 AM (GMT)
Gardervoir is a better choice for that.

But Spore is guaranteed sleep! Hypnosis has a 55-60% accuracy, which is iffy and unreliable. Get Shroomish! Get Spore!
While you're at it, get it to evolve to Breloom after, then teach it focus punch. Spore + Focus Punch = a Focus Punch that can hit! (and Breloom really can hit! It's attack is high, and it receives STAB for Focus Punch, too! Ouch! )
Actually, you can breed for False Swipe on Shroomish. Shroomish with False Swipe and Spore is excellent for catching, I've heard.

New update! I just caught my first and only Latios! Yeah, I shouldn't have used that Master Ball on him..... Oh well. Does anyone have any move set suggestions for him? (It's a boy! It's legendary! What's with that?!?)

Latias and Latios are an exception to the "legendary pokemon are neither" rule. since they are brother and sister, they have to be a gender. :P

yep...they have genders, but you cant breed them. they dont have an Egg Group. and strangely enough, the Battle Tower doesnt consider them to be legendary. it confiscates Pokemon like Kyogre, Groudon, Mew, Jirachi, Rayquaza, etc...but it doesnt consider Latios, Latias, and the Regis to be legendaries.
anyway, movesets...
Waterfall/Surf
Psychic
Dragon Claw
Thunderbolt/Earthquake

Thanks!
So, Psychic and Dragon Claw are for STAB and felow Dragons.
However, there aren't any moves to deal with Latios' weaknesses: namely, ice, bug, ghost, and dark. Is the main strategy to hope that something is weak to one of those moves, and that your opponent won't bring in something that's super effective against it?
