Faleira - April 14, 2003 04:20 PM (GMT)
i was thinking, cause i' going to go buy Golden Sun2: Lost Age in a couple of days, and getting a light for my gba, and was wondering if i should buy a gameshark while i was at it... what do you guys think?

bunnygirl - April 14, 2003 08:27 PM (GMT)
absolutely, especially for a game like Golden Sun! who could live without visiting the Debug Rooms? hehehe

Faleira - April 14, 2003 08:30 PM (GMT)
But can't it like completely mess up ur game?

bunnygirl - April 14, 2003 08:54 PM (GMT)
yeah, it could, but i think the chances are way lower than people make it out to be. ive never had my game screwed up by a GameShark. the worst thats ever happened was the graphics going crazy and the game freezes, but i just reset it and its back to normal.
there are some people who dont like to cheat and just want to play the game as it was meant to be played. if youre one of these people, then i dont suggest getting a nasty little cheat device like GameShark ;)

Faleira - April 14, 2003 10:23 PM (GMT)
lol, i love cheating, but only after the game pisses me off, or i've finished and enjoyed it ;) though , how bad can a gameshark mess up ur game? well, how bad do people say it can?

bunnygirl - April 14, 2003 10:48 PM (GMT)
well, usually before posting a GameShark code, most people post a warning that it can permanently damage or delete your game. by 'permanently damage' i dont think they mean the actual game itself, just the save file. im not sure though.

ok, thx

Edit: Oh ya, how exactly does the game shark work? why's there a cd that comes with it?

Faleira - April 16, 2003 01:00 AM (GMT)
seems like i'm not gonna be getting a reply if i don't post something eh? i'm never editing my messages again, lol

you just plug your game into the gameshark, put the gameshark into your GBA and turn it on. from there you can add games, add codes, etc. i have never used my cd so i don't know much about it.

btw, does anyone know where i can get codes 4 Ru/Sa? gameshark.com doesn't have any, yet...

i'm pretty sure there are 2 FAQs on Gamefaqs.com with gameshark codes. though, on top of every code, they put a warning about how it can screw up ur game, and well, it scares me, lol
