are there any type of pokemon that are more likely to be shiney?

it's real hard to get a shiny. i caught a wingull and didnt even know that it was shiny and kept it in my pc for a long time. now it know. and mirage island is hard to find too. i forgot how to get there.

to get to Mirage Island, you have to have a Pokemon in your party that unlocks it. the problem with this is, its impossible to tell which Pokemon is the key, and they are very rare anyway. so if you really want to see Mirage Island, youre pretty much forced to use GameShark, Codebreaker etc.

yeah...sucks doesnt it? i dont know why they would even put that into the game.

because i just used my action replay to get the mirage island code with the pokemon i wanted and it had to be the first pokemon in your party and when you get there ,there's nothing but wild wynaut's there on the deserted place.but anyways it got me a purple wynaut that was weird at first,,i can give you the code if you want it....And im not a moron ultimate supreme goddess.

I suppose it helps keep people hooked, so they turn it on everyday atleast once to see if they can get there.
Also i think its kinda cool cos it adds a bit of mystery, and i suppose youd feel priveledged if you got there :)

it doesnt only have wild Wynaut, it also has the extremely rare Liechi Berry, that raises your Pokemons Attack power when its HP is low.

I saw once on the net that to unlock it you need to have a wynaut in your party...

An emulator is an illegal program that 'emulates' a computer game console and rom is the name for the games.
you can download them free from many sites

Each pokemon has a gender number from 0-99 (100 numbers), say for torchic:
Torchic has a 15% chance of being female so if the random gender number is 0-14
it will be male and any other number will make it male.

To be a pokemon that can make mirage island appear it has to have a number that is right next to the gender boundary do for torchic its random gender number has to be 14 or 15 out of the 0-99 range

Been trying to get to Mirage Island myself for many days (a couple fo weeks actually). Much discussioin elsewhere on teh Gender Value. Some epeople say it's 0-31, others say it 0-255. Most are saying now it has nothing to do with Gender Values. The one person I know who went there (without Sharking) had it work for a specific pokemon on one day only.

Maybe it is connected to gender, but the pokemon that gets you there one day may not/will not get you there the next.

Psersonal experience: caught 100 zigzagzoons one day and tried them all, not a one worked. So unless gender is 0-255, it's not likely gender. If it is gender and it changes everyday then trying all 100 each day should make it appear (even if gender is 0-255) within the week...

Anyone know anymore about it? For the Sharkers do you know what values your codes change in the game or was this just luck. Rather long set of strings.. Any idea as to what each line individually does?

what is the point with trying to go to Mirage Island anyway? seems like a lot of work just trying to get there.. the only pokemon there are Wynaut... and you could get those just by breeding two Wobuffet and put the Sea(i think) Incence on it, or the other Incence(whick i forget what it is) on one of them. so i see no point really...

you have to use the lax inscence to breed two wobbefet's to get wynaut, and the other reason to get to mirage island is that there is a very rare berry on it (don't know the name of it though)

the only thing you can do on mirage island is catch wynaut and get a rare berry...it isnt that great

first you need a mirge pokemon then go to the log place paficlog town then go to the south east thern part of the town walking and in one of the house is a guy looking out the windiow talk to him if he says i see mirge island then head east until u reach that island
