You would think that it was a ninja or something :ph43r: . Nincada has the most strangest elvoution patterns I've ever seen. First it's Ground/Bug, then its Bug Flying/Flying and Ghost/Bug.

I'm beginning to think that Shedinja is only a mystery(who knows it might not even be real). Does anyone have any clue on how to get Shedinja. Now, Pokemon-Games.com show it as one of the greatest battlers and team-uppers. But how can they say that when know one has ever seen one in Pokemon Ruby or SapphirE!!!!. I want a Shedinja!

All I know is something about having 5 or less pokemon in yo party.

When Nincada is leveling up to 20 and is going to evolve into Ninjask, make sure you have room in your party. I mean, have 5 or less pokemon on you. The open spot with have the Shedinja. Nincada evolves into two different pokemon at once!

By the way...It only has 1 np, because it is made of a discarded cacoon, but it's only hit by Dark, Fire, and Water attacks. It has a shield that protects it from any attack unless it's super effective. -Found out by accident when he had an open spot in his party when Nincada leveled up to 34, cause he had put him into the day care at the beginning of the game, and forgot about him until 45 hours of playing later.-

Shedinja is fun to use, I wore down and was able to catch Rayquaza with mine. Like Mystical Psyduck said, it only has one HP and never gets more but it's special ability is that it can only be hit by moves that are super effective against it. Since it is bug/ghost that would be only Fire, Flying, Rock, Ghost or Dark. I did find out thought if it gets confused it can kill itself too.

It just...appears out of nowhere...If it's worth training, anyone want to give me some attacks? BTW, Shedinja can only be hit by Fire, Flying, Rock...and somethin' else...I dunno... :P

There's probably dozens of articles, discussion, and guides on this Pokemon already, including an article on the main KL site and two instances in other threads of this forum. I'm going to set it straight once and for all here and now.

To get Shedinja, raise a Nincada to level 20. When it evolves into Ninjask, Shadinja will automatically appear in an empty Pokemon slot if you have a PokeBall in your pack. Note that the PokeBall must be the same type you used to capture the Nincada with.

Shedinja's ability, Wonder Guard, prevents any attack damage that is not fire, flying, rock, dark, or ghost. If it does take damage, it'll faint because it only has 1 hit point. Although Shedinja is useful for capturing legendaries (or other Pokemon in general), its notoriousness has spread throughout the online Pokemon comunity, and all trainers have some sort of anti-Shedinja on their team.

Other ways of defeating Shedinja:

Spikes
Sandstorm
Hail
Leech Seed
Confusion
Poison/Toxic
Burn
Curse (ghost version)
Nightmare

The term Anti-Shedinja should be self-explanatory: any means in which an individual prevents, or defeats, the use of Shedinja. And yes, you do need the same type of PokeBall. There are countless people who have confirmed this through experimentation, including myself. I doubt you did any research whatsoever, so don't make claims you can't back up.
