So you want to get recognized by SM as an official international fan club but you don¡¯t know how? Well here¡¯s your chance.
We¡¯ve been negotiating with SM about having an official international fanclub for DBSK, which later on will lead to other official international fanclubs for other SM artists.
So what¡¯s the catch you ask?
Well, in order to prove to SM that we are serious about this, we have to sell 150 DBSK CASSIOPEIA PARKAS by the 12th of January of 2005.
Why you may ask?
In order to show that we are serious about wanting an official international fanclub, we have to be able to sell their most expensive fan merchandise.
What will this give us?
First off, for those of you who don¡¯t know, the parkas are only sold on STARTV. STARTTV is an SM artists¡¯ merchandise site that only offers these products, but through negotiation, we were able to attain permission to sell the parkas.
If we succeed in selling 150 parkas by the 12th of January, here¡¯s what you can expect to see:
If we succeed, then this opens the doors to not only DBSK fan goodies, but all SM groups fan goodies that will only be offered on this site, and to only the Korean fans. That gives you access to merchandise that you would not be able to get if you weren¡¯t a part of the Korean official fanclubs these SM artists have.
At the moment, the only SM artist merchandise on STARTV is DBSK merchandise. But SM is working on having all their artists sell products on this site, so this isn¡¯t just for DBSK FANS. FTTS, BoA, Trax, KangTa fans¡¦ this will open the doors to you too.
For DBSK fans, if this goal is obtained, we can expect a lot more DBSK activities for foreign fans.
But wait¡¦ there¡¯s more!
In negotiating this whole thing with SM, we¡¯ve managed to get 50 of these 150 parkas signed by DBSK themselves. So what does that mean? That means each boy will sign 10 parkas, and that 50 of you lucky fans will get one of these signed parkas.
That¡¯s a 25% chance of you getting a signed parka if you buy one.
Of course to remain fair in all of this, the signed parkas cannot be purchased at a higher price. These 50 parkas will be randomly sent off to 50 people.
But still 25% of you getting a signed parka is pretty good. That mean 1 out of every 4 orders will get a signed parka by one of the DBSK members. Something not even the Korean CASSIOPEIA fanclub was able to get.
Still more good news!
Now I know that $100.00 is a lot of money, and it¡¯s even more for international fans outside of the US. That is why a couple of us have come up with an idea to help sell these 150 parkas.
We are holding a raffle. What does that mean? It means that if you send anywhere from $20 minimum and up, to the raffle coordinator, you will be qualified for a parka drawing.
One of those parkas can very much be a signed one as well. It¡¯s all random so we won¡¯t know until we get those parkas in. But let me explain this raffle in more details.
A parka costs $100.00
A raffle ticket costs $20.00
For every 6 people who send in $20.00, those 6 names will go into a drawing for a parka. The winner will have the parka sent to them.
Why 6 and not 5 you ask? Well, because we have to include shipping and handling expenses of this parka, we have to have 6 people and not 5.
But what if I send in $20, but there is no 5 other people who do?
If you should send in your $20, and we find that there aren¡¯t 5 others to put you in a raffle for the drawing, then we will send you your money back guaranteed, unless you want that $20.00 to go towards other funds of IN:COM.
So that gives you a 1 out of 6 chance that you can win this parka, and even more a signed parka if it is randomly sent. And the best part, you won it for $20.
