Title: Spring Fundraiser
Description: 7th week, Yakitori sale

when we went to kikuya, the manager's husband told satomi that he would be calling her back, but he did not. since he also mentioned that they have much free time (-> business is bad), we'll take kikuya's lack of response as a rejection.
in any case, we need to make money. one proposal is to cook yakitori with rice at the grill outside of reynolds club. i think it would be very easy to prepare the yakitori for grilling, and we can probably sell it for like $3-$4 for 3 skewers and rice, so i think we can do this.
we will need to secure the grill outside of reynolds and get propane for this. that's the only hard part i can foresee.
what do you think?

we'll be doing the fundraiser during 7th week. i think we should only do it inbetween 11am and 1:30pm. or perhaps even a shorter amount of time.
what do you think?

This is our best option. I say we book it as soon as possible.

When Saya and I went to Kikuya on Wednesday night of last week, we saw the owner there, eating with the employees. She's still in charge. If J-Club is still interested in pursuing this matter, some one should try to get in direct contact with her, instead of going through her husband.
Did ORCSA say that J-Club needs to get its own propane? Or is this an assumption?

I know this diverges from the sushi-and-teriyaki idea, but how about selling bubble tea from Ken Kee restaurant in Chinatown? :D It is a proven technique, given its success in the JAS and ScavHunt funraisers. Plus bubble tea is extremely delicious, coming in such mouth-watering flavors as green tea and black tea... mmm I want to buy three of em right now. Oishi!

That sounds like the best option to me, as well. Also, when are we planning to hold the fundraiser? I made a prototype flyer that can be found on my website (http://home.uchicago.edu/~jgrabels). I didn't include what we were selling, and the times and dates are made up, but it was suggested that I should include what we're selling. Should I include the price also? Gimme your comments :)

Why not do both? Mmm... yakitori with bubble tea...
Of course, everyone knows that the best beverage to wash yakitori down with is an ice cold Kirin! ^_^
