Hii everybody ^_^

In February 2006, the tournament Rotterdam Open starts again :D And I'll be going! I'm pretty sure JC will come too.. since he comes like.. every year.. it's not confirmed yet tho..

Anyway.. me and Bea (Beita), like always, wanted to give him something (Like a letter and a present) And I was thinking.. why not let more people participate??
This is the idea:

Those who want to give JC something (Letter, present, birthdaycard [it's a few days after his b'day] or anything else) Can send it to me, and I'll do my best to give it to Juan Carlos in February..
I have no idea if there are people who would like to participate to this.. If you do, please tell me.. (Just post a reply or send a PM)

I'll add you to the list.. Sooo people come on, be creative! And I hope it'll turn out great :D

well it's a great idea :) though i don't know what would be better,a letter or a gift cause my english isn't very good and the letter would probably look :o :D

If you want to.. you can try to write a letter and than send it to me (with email or something) and I can see if ur english really isn't good ;) but I bet it'll be okay.. and maybe Bea wants to translate into spanish for you :)

I think it's better to like organise a project such as the postcard album last year, cuz giving him a bunch of individual presents is a bit :huh:

Well it's just meant as an opportunity for people to give him something.. not an idea for giving him something big, you know, like the postcard album.

Veer I know what your global idea was, but IMO it's a better idea to give him one good thing than a bunch of seperate gifts he probably won't even have a closer look at. Imagine how many gifts he gets already.. I don't think he's longing for another teddy bear.

I had no idea if there would be any interest in this in the first place, now I see there is.. There are people who would like to give him something.. and that's why I do this.. actually I have no idea whether JC would like it or not, take a look at it or not, but there are people who want JC to get their letters and gift.. so I wanna give it to him for them..

I'd love to do another project but as you say, somebody has to have a brilliant idea.. Anybody?

In the meantime I'll just go on with this 'mini-project' , okay? :)

Don't get my wrong Carole, I know what you mean.. projects are just.. bigger.. more special.. and probably more appreciated.. and better
but this is just something else which I would like to do..

I think that it is a good idea cause sometimes people want to do things but they can't find a way of getting it to him cause they're not going ot a tournament.

i think that this project is a special chance for someone to give JC something what is made by individual,
but let's be honest he doesn't have time to read a whole bunch of letters and
stuff,
but the point is to try and make an effort :)

cool idea but i'm going myself ;) :P don't know with day yet, I always go when I know JC is gonna play, I may get some tickets for a night upfront, so school isn't in the way ;) :P

Well you can send it 2 me by mail.. but I have 2 say: please do not send an expensive presents or something bcoz firstly, it can get lost in mail and secondly, you never now if Juanki comes 100% (If he gets injured or something [NO WAY! :omg: ] I won't be able 2 give it to him and that would be a big pity)

I really hope for all of you that JC will play in Rotterdam and I don`t want to spoil the party, but I read that JC is confirmed for Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is the week right before Rotterdam.
As far as I know it`s the first time he plays there and it`s a clay tournament, so
I don`t know if the chances are so good for him to play Rotterdam in 2006.
Maybe he`ll do the "clay court swing" this time and also plays in Brazil and Mexico afterwards, like Rafa and Gaston did ??

But of course you never know !!

i don't think he plays qualification if he wanted to play there he can without qualification

This sucks.

He's not coming....The other 4 players will have to play qualification and JC is not playing qualification.....So now I'm going to cry all day :( ! It makes me really cranky <_<
