Title: The movies you're most looking forward to seeing
Description: What can't you wait for to come out?
ferreros_girl23 - March 25, 2005 03:26 PM (GMT)
There are some crackers coming out, but I personally can't wait for Sin City. It's the screen adaptation of Frank Miller's comics of the same name. It all looks very dark and exciting. It stars, amongst a swag of other big names Jessica Alba, Clive Owen, Bruce Willis and Rosario Dawson.
roisin - March 25, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
pirates of the carribean 2 & mask of zorro 2 :D
Beita - March 25, 2005 03:32 PM (GMT)
Agree with Roisin, I'm looking forward for pirates of the carribean 2 and of course, the new one of Gael garcía Bernal with Brad Pitt
JCSam - March 25, 2005 03:45 PM (GMT)
Yep, definitely Pirates of the Carribbean 2, and I want to see Meet the Fockers and Miss Congeniality 2. I know thos 2 are out, but I haven't managed to get to the cinema to see them yet!! ^_^
zee - March 25, 2005 05:49 PM (GMT)
Beauty Shop!..and Spanglish and The Interpreter..ooh so many movis so little time!..ooh and Finding Neverland!
carole - March 25, 2005 05:59 PM (GMT)
I want so see "De Indringer" but it's a Belgian movie so whatever hehe
It's with my favourite belgian actor and he actually went to my school, isnt that cool haha

I want to see The Ring 2 but I saw the first one in Japanese so if I go to the american version of The Ring 2 I don't think I'd like it
JuanquiChuffy007 - March 25, 2005 06:17 PM (GMT)
Star Wars III - Revenge of the Sith. I'm probably the only one? I saw a trailer, looks so cool!
JCF.dutches - March 25, 2005 07:22 PM (GMT)
Japanese horror movies are so feckin scary. But all the (American) remakes totally stink. I wouldn't waste any more of my money to see Ring II. I don't get why they would hire the Japanese movie maker, to make a movie that's nothing like his original?!? I snoozed through RingI and the Grudge. They always cram in heeps of special effects and try to sell it as horror. What's scary about water running up to the ceiling??? Unlike the Japanese version where everything could happen in real life. Now that would be scary.
Any of you seen the Eyes or the Phone? Those are pretty scary. Ju-on (the Grugde) is the best.
I'm gonna see Star Wars too. Too bad there won't be much of Hayden. =(
carole - March 25, 2005 07:58 PM (GMT)
I suppose you've seen the Japanese version of the RingI then :)
It was good! It was hard sometimes with all the Japanese names haha. I didn't see the American version, but from what I've seen from the trailers, and picturing they always take the best parts for the trailers, I don't regret I didn't see it hehe
Japanese horror is very scary indeed, but the American remakes are terrible, most of the times. Americans are woussies :P They censore everything! The Japanese horror is less "too scary" than American horror is "too little scary" :)
JCF.dutches - March 25, 2005 08:21 PM (GMT)
I've seen all three of the Ring. Wouldn't recommend it. They always make up to many bull.. ehm.. things in sequels, trying to keep the story interesting while everything's been told. In the Ring 0 the girl from the well turned out to be a weird lab experiment or sumthin'. But the Americans make better monsters, the scene when the girl came crawling out of the screen is better.
Marionette - March 26, 2005 10:57 AM (GMT)
I've seen the Japanese version of Ring II... That was freaky stuff man. My brother and I were holding onto each other for dear life when that green lady was climbing up the wall. I had scary visions and nightmare for days! But I haven't seen any other Japanese horror movie.
I really want to see Miss Congeniality 2. I think my brother and I are going to see it on Monday. I also want to rent Saved, that new movie with Mandy Moore in it. It's like, the comeback of Macaulay Calkin. I don't know if I soelt his name right... I don't think I did...
ferreros_girl23 - March 30, 2005 04:43 AM (GMT)
And of course Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire :D !
Titania - March 30, 2005 01:26 PM (GMT)
Kingdom of heaven the ever lush orlando bloom, pure coz the story line seems very interesting, oh oh and house of wax Chad Micheal Murray and Jared Padalecki  (spelling?)..heheh

I've got plans to go see "Un long dimanche de fiancailles" soon. (Also known as "A Very Long Engagement.) It's not exactly NEW, but since I'm studying this text by Sebastien Japriscot in my French class, I thought I might as well go see the movie. Plus, the lecturer actually recommended it, which is rare. How many lecturers actually recommend the movie version of a literary classic?
katrelle - April 4, 2005 01:57 AM (GMT)
yeh, i've seen that out for a while..tell me if its ne good amanda....

Ooh, I love Gaspard Ulliel! He is so........
I hope my video rental places will eventually carry Les Égarés, but I don't think they will.
For some reason I want to see "A lot like love" w/ Ashton Kutcher. I don't know why, because I have made it my life's work to not see any movies featuring the punk'd star. I think it's a temporary lapse in judgement.

Oh you got to see it, I haven't had the chance to see it yet. It just came out not long ago here in Aus. None of my friend wanna see it, they rarely ever stray from mainstream and I think this film is a bit too much for their delicate eyes and ears...And you're right, Gael does make a great woman!! His gorgeous 2 inch long eyelashes help a bit!
juanquilover - April 4, 2005 06:36 PM (GMT)
it took ages for la mala educacion to come is Australia, i saw it last june or something!
Gael is love

ferreros_girl23 - April 12, 2005 03:49 PM (GMT)
Gael (Garcia Bernal) and Diego (Luna) have a new movie coming out called Toto, not much is known about it, only that Gael and Diego will star, Carlos Cuarón will be directing and his brother Alfonso (Y tu mama Tambien, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) will help him to produce!!
miztreated - June 9, 2005 04:42 AM (GMT)
Well Mr. and Mrs. Smith is out today here in Australia. *jumps up and down* Brad Pitt looks so HOT in it! And I hate Angelina Jolie for being so gorgeous...*sigh*
Hey, I think Adam Brody's in it too....
Okay, I'm promising myself that I won't go see it until the 24th. That's when my exams finish. :D
katrelle - June 9, 2005 04:45 AM (GMT)
wwwaaatt...adam brody it in it??!??

roisin - June 9, 2005 09:43 AM (GMT)
i totally gotta go see mr & mrs smith. brad pitt
im looking forward to seeing the da vinci code too, but thats not out il nxt year me thinks...
katrelle - June 9, 2005 10:25 AM (GMT)
i dunno if i wanna see the da vinci code movie...i really dont like the casting -_- ...i hate it when i watch movies adapted from books....and they usually turn out horribly!
roisin - June 9, 2005 11:20 AM (GMT)
yeah, paul bettany as silas... i can see that being a disaster
miztreated - June 9, 2005 11:26 AM (GMT)
Yeah, Paul Bettany as Silas is a bit rank, but Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, that's pure genius. He was so totally made for the part!
But Sir Ian McKellan as Sir Leigh Teabing? What the doodle? Teabing's supposed to be a fat middle-aged guy with red hair and polio. Now Sir Ian's a dude. He's a good actor. But even I can't see that happening.
EDIT: Jean Reno as Bezu Fache was a bit of inspired casting, I reckon. It was probably a toss up between him and Depardieu, considering they're the only French actors in Hollywood-ish. Reno would be MUCH better as Fache.
katrelle - June 9, 2005 11:29 AM (GMT)
paul bettany as silas! ahahahahah!!!! thats soo funny...lets hope the makeup department is good!!
yeh..i guess i can see tom as langdon...its just..i cannot stand tom's voice!! arghh!!
roisin - June 9, 2005 11:33 AM (GMT)
the silas thing stumps me. im always gonna see bettany as 'peter, peter colt'.
tom hanks will be good though i think...i totally love that book. i never read but i couldn't put the book down :) how long is the film gonna be though?! i hope they dont do a total HP and cut out like everything
miztreated - June 11, 2005 06:12 AM (GMT)
It's Hollywood. What do you expect Rosh?
In fact, when it's released, I fully expect it for it not to be called "The Da Vinci Code", but rather something dodgy like "Symbologist, Crytologist and Albino" or "The Conspiracy of Christ".
That may be just a slight exaggeration, but darn Hollywood anyway! ^^

I don't think they'll change the title especially since it's a #1 bestseller here. I'm sure they're banking some part on the success of the book to sell the movie ^_^
zee - June 11, 2005 03:21 PM (GMT)
The Da Vinci Code rocks(the book that is). Hey who is Paul Bettany..he sounds really familiar...
I am dying to see POTC 2 and 3 coz i went and visited the sets in Universal Studios..they look so good!
Suttanipa - June 11, 2005 03:34 PM (GMT)
Harry potter!!! but I'm have to wait!!!1 -_-
