Title: Guidelines

I'm sure most of you have nice photos or images that you would like to place in your signature, but are unable to do so because of the fact that you need to upload them to a server for constant access. Since few of us have our own servers, I've decided to offer a small service.

Basically, this forum is meant for images to be uploaded from your hard-drive, then used as signatures (for example, my one).

It's a bit complex, but I'll be as clear as I can.

1. All users should now have the "Upload Attachments" option in their posting screens, as seen below

2. After uploading your image, right click on the uploaded image and select Properties

3. Highlight the URL and copy it (Ctrl+C)

4. Click OK, then go to My Controls and edit your signature like you normally would, using the IMG tag. Paste the URL into the box (Ctrl+V), then click OK.

Voila! Behold your new signature!

Note: All screenshots above were taken using the above steps.

Keep in mind, it does take time to load, so refrain from using images that are way too large. Official sizes will be posted in time, but experiment for now.

Remember, if you have your own server, please upload your images to it instead of this forum, and do not use this forum as a storage room to link to other pages. Failure to comply will lead to Lily getting angry at me, and thus me deleting all your posts. You wouldn't want that to happen, would you?

If you want tips on creating signatures, feel free to use this forum to ask questions from more experienced users. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, and I'll do what I can.

Without further ado, you may post.
