Title: Tragic morning

I'm not sure what the details are, but I do know that something happened this morning.
There's a railway crossing near my house, and the local government has been campaigning to build an underground road to relieve congestion on the roads around the crossing. It's a notorious crossing, and there's usually an accident every month.
Today, however, was one of the worst we've ever had. Again, I don't know the details, but apparently there was a car accident early in the morning. When the emergency crews got there, one of the cars which was stuck on the tracks was hit by an incoming train.
The train driver was treated for shock. Three motorists were killed.

I heard it on the radio, on my way to school.
It's horrible.
I can't say how sorry I am for the families of the drivers and passengers.

I saw it in the newspaper today...it sounds horrific, and the fact that the Government has been harassed for so long about building an under/overpass, and yet, still haven't.... -_-
Must it take so many human lives before they begin to do something about what has been labelled "the black spot of Melbourne railway crossings"? I'm disgusted by it.

Three bundles of flowers were placed at the crossing today.
Coincidentally, my mother was in a car accident today on the way back from work. She was going slightly too fast, car in front signalled and turned way too early, she smacked into it.
Just a scratch, although the car dented quite well. Mum is, of course, okay.

This keeps getting better...
As reported in the Herald Sun, there was an accident the previous night. There was also another accident last night as well, 12 hours after the tragic train accident. No casualties, but this is starting to get incredibly stupid...
