Title: What did you do today?

Scottie_theNerd - July 18, 2003 09:38 AM (GMT)
Well, usual school day. Got semester reports, mine isn't anything impressive (Warning: Nerd speak. "Not impressive" probably means "EXCELLENT"). Went to Uni, found out bookshop was having a sale on exercise books and other goods, so helped myself to quite a few items. Cheap overall, also bought one of those sticky-tape dispensers that you can use with one hand, as well as a box of Derwent pencils (I deserve one!). Pity the last item took a big chunk out of my budget <_<

Fixed computer, ate ice cream, read report...and yea...

Perfect scores are unnerving. Really.

Held dance auditions, watched a bunch of people move around like retarded chickens then spent the rest of the day in the sick bay with a migraine and ready to pass out, because mum couldn't come and get me.

To exciting!

Jaxene - July 18, 2003 05:35 PM (GMT)
Today...Well it's only noon so far, and I woke up at 9, so not _much_ to write...
I went catsitting this morning, and then while I was there, I went to the pool, and did a few laps and all...
Then I came hoooome...and I came on here, and I've been watching the Comic Con webcam ever since ;) Quite fun, actually...and then reading around the forum, and writing emails, in between :D

So, yep, fun, haha, now see, I shooooooould be studying, but nah, later, it's early yet!

lol, chao!!!
*Hugs*

Friday:
Went to University, bought some stationery, went home and got chewed up by Lily. You can see the result in the form of the forum's new look.

Saturday:
Spent most of my day blowing off steam by playing video games. Avoided another session with Lily by accidentally falling asleep early.

Sunday:
Whoa! Where did all this work come from??

Well, had a rather eventful day today.

Had an I.T. Careers Expo. Basically, all the universities in the area came in with computer specialists and handed out information booklets and answered questions regarding course decisions in tertiary education. I was supposed to meet up with several other students in my class, but apparently none had the initiative to look at a map. They got together after school and went computer gaming in the city, while I dropped off home, got changed and went back off again.

I knew something was fishy when I couldn't see any of our uniforms around (the guys were still wearing them), and then I noticed I was the first (and only) student from my school to register at the entrance desk.

I actually did meet up with one of my IT teachers, so we hung out for the rest of the night. Also ran into Andrew (remember the guy who organised the Summer School, Lily? :D ). Didn't recognise me though, and I wasn't wearing my Monash shirt <_<

After obtaining a stack of brochures (and realising I had missed a university), we proceeded to the lecture theatre and set through a few hours of IT career paths with experts in the field, as well as current students in related courses. I'm sure Lily remembers our time at Monash. I feel right at home ^_^

Afterwards, me and the teacher took off and headed off home. Offered to drive me home, but I declined, pointing out I only lived a few minutes away from the station. Had a nice long chat, and parted ways. Pity it was raining the whole night. Good thing I like rain.

Odd: I had my left sleeve rolled up the entire night, like I always do. It never got wet through the rain

Hmmm lets see. Unwillingly got out of bed and forced self to go to school as there are no parental units at home at the moment to make me go to school. Had one class and finished at 11.

Decided to not take dance rehearsals today and left friend to do it so I could go shopping with friends instead. Yes - I am a true leader.

Friends came over for lunch, were scared shitless of my dog, who is a week cocker spaniel, wouldn't hurt a fly. Actually - I lie, but hes not vicious. (spelling?)

Had a nap for a few hours and friends have just left as I cooked a roast for them. Aren't I nice. 2 courses and 3 different desserts. I haven't seen so much food outside of SIzzler in my entire life.

Alex - July 23, 2003 01:09 PM (GMT)
Woke up with the phone(GRRRRRRR!!!). It was my best friend telling me she had an idea for our day 2day. As if i cared,i had just woken up and she's talking to me about the rest of my day. GRRRR again!! Wanted to kill her. Said that to her,but in portuguese I want to kill you is Quero matar-te, which resembles a lot to Quero uma tarte, which means I want a pie. She wondered why the hell i wanted a pie for. I changed kill to murder. She got it. Finally. Hung up and told her to call me later. Tried to sleep again. No chance. Watched TV. Went online. She called again asking me if i had any balls for us to play volley wth. Told her i didnt. She went and asked her neighbour. Hung up. Went to lunch. She called again in the middle of lunch. Wanted to kill her again. Was really starving. She said she had found some balls. Good for her,i thought. Told her i was eating. Hung up again. Finished eating. Went online again. Now here i am bugging u. But she also bugged me a lot, so i guess i suffered more than u. Anyways, will stay here a while and then going to play volley with her or else she just wouldnt shut up. Okay,i know i sound rude to her and all of that, but its just because i fell asleep at 3am and she woke me up at 11am. Didnt enjoy that. But i love her,of course, shes the best! :)

 LOL good one Alex!!

Scott ~ omg I actually saw that IT expo thing on this pamphlet yesterday [so obviously I couldn't go at such late notice...why didn't you tell me about it earlier?!?]
--nice to hear that you saw Andrew ~ he was weird...and I can't believe that you'd sit through all those lectures again...omg although it was an experience at Monash, I don't think I'd do it again...[though meeting new ppl was interesting!] :P

Alex - July 24, 2003 12:44 PM (GMT)
it was good, wasnt it?didnt think it too funny at the moment,i confess.was in a terrible mood.and when ur in a terrible mood the last thing u wanna hear is ppl misunderstanding what u say.especially when its funny and u just dont wanna laugh.it sux.but its ok now,and we laugh about it like to crazed hienas.we're just like that,we hav tons of private jokes.we laugh at so many things.and ppl just dont get it.its so funny,u cant imagine how funny it is.bet its not that funny for other ppl.ah well...*sigh*

Scottie_theNerd - July 25, 2003 08:23 AM (GMT)
Lily~
Haha, my notice wasn't much better. My Information Systems teacher gave me the heads up a few weeks prior to the Expo, and only had a few days to decide whether I was going or not. Naturally, I was going. The tale of the Lost Guys is now a legend in our classroom. Although the city is a big place, everyone getting lost and being too lazy and gave up is so ironic that we simply can't get over it.

I also got a Stress-mouse. You know, those things you squeeze when you're REALLY angry? :D

---

Had another Careers Expo last night. Nothing really interesting, since I had already obtained more relevant information the night before. Basically, just stocked up on course information and asked some experts in the field, as well as having a deep and meaningful conversation with one of them. Overall, it was an OK night. Saw LOTS of girls I knew (and now they're all starting to talk to me. Strange... ), and I lived only 5 minutes away from the Uni.

Nothing much today either. Wrote a few more sad poems in class, as well as had a request to use some of my poems as resources for next year's Year 11 course booklet. My start to fame?
