It seems like most of the people here, when they talk about school are much more serious than I am about it. I like some things about school and I don't like others. But I don't stress out over what classes to take, I don't really care. Some other things I would like to know are:

How many people are in each class? I usualy have between 25-30
What days of the week do you go to school? Monday-Friday for me
Do you have the same classes every day? I do
What time do you have to get up? I have to wake up at 5:10 which I HATE
When does school end? Is it the same time every day? It's always 2:20 at my school

i am graduating in THREE days!! yayayayaya... :lol: haha..well techinically i've already had my graduation ceremony but my final exam (state wide) is on wednesday..and after that i'm freeeeee...

class size: at my skool the higher the grade, the less ppl in each classs...so most of my classes have been about 18-20 ish...

also monday to friday

no i didnt have same classes every day, it depends how many units of the subject you do..most subjects that count are 2 units so that translates to about 6 hrs a week i think? i dont really remember anymore...so obviously the more units you do, the more hours you gotta have of that subject...

my skool starts at 8:47 (locker bell at 8:45), so i usually get up about 7:30...i get lift to skool...

skool ends at 3:05, except for tuesdays which ends at 2:25, also if you have free periods at the end of the day, you can leave after ur last class..so for example, on wednesdays i left at lunchtime...

I can tell what's the exactly feeling I have for school...well,different situation in different countries,I'm in college right now and everything changes,but I can still remeber the life I have in my senior high school in the graduating class.I'm sure it will surprise you a lot:
we have 12 calsses a day,and we went to school from monday to saturday,on sunday most of us have to take extra classes.
all we have in the whole year are just six courses:chinese,math,english,political,geography,history(human culture class)
chinese,math,english,physical,chemistry,biology(science class)
we get up on 6:00am and went to bed at about 1:00am(the other day) or even later.
you see,except for eating and sleeping,we studying all the day,under the mind boggling pressure,just for a better college and maybe a better future.
However,things change a lot when you enter the college.A totally different life.

I love University more though.

I've got 36 hours but that's because were with the kids who have latin and greek we have to stay longer at school for them which really sucks. But I vote not sure cuz that's the middle I like school because I have fun there with my friends, the classes are not bad except for a couple but do they have let you fall asleep.....

i like high-school (though it's a nuns school)... what I dislike is Studying!!! But I like school coz I have great moments with my girl-friends there... (in my class, we are 29 girls and only 1 boy.... 4 years ago, we were only girls..)

This year I only had 2 or 3 classes a day insted of 6 which is the usual, and every second Wednesday I only had 1 class...but it was good, cos sometimes I wouldn't start untill 12 sometimes I finished at 12....

well, I liked uni a lot more.... less restrictive.

i go to school 5 times a week. monday,tuesday,wednesday,thursday and saturday.
i start at 7.30 till 12.30. but if you have religious class then you go back to school again at 1.30 till 5.30. then there are extra classes,tuition and language class(for some)

i have 15 students in my class and i go to an all girls school. we start our school days from january till november. the next january is the next class. get what i mean? :huh:

How many people are in each class? I go to a small Swedish school ( Swedish is the other oficcial language here in Finland, and about 300 000 people, including me, talks it as their mother language), and we have small classes comparing to other schools. In my class theres only 8 students :)

How many people are in each class? Well, I do A-levels now & it varies a bit. There's about a dozen in most of my classes - though there's only 5 of us in Further Maths.

Do you have the same classes every day? Well, I have 4 double periods a week of each subject (except F.Maths - I only have 2 a week of those).
What time do you have to get up? Have to? Hmm. That depends. I have to leave my house at 8am. What time I actually get up is a different story altogether!! ;)

It depends on my mood whether I like school or not. My school is from monday to friday. We have classes that vary from 20-35 people. I don't have the same classes everyday ( I just have too many subjects for that). My school starts at 9:00 and I leave the house at 8:45 and than I cycle for about 5 min!!! My school ends at different times, monday: 4:30, tuesday + wednesday: 4:00 and thursday 3:00 and friday 2:30

My classes usually vary. For something like French, there's only five of us, theres 16 in Literature, 16 in Methods, about 20 in Classics and 15 in Media. It really depends on the popularity of the subject, and how many people want to do it. French obviously isn't very popular.

I only live half an hours walk away from my school, so i wake up at 8.15 and can be at school by the first bell at 9.00

School usually ends at 3.15 but on Mondays, I have a spare at the end of the day so I leave at 2.30.

And yeah, I generally like school. I get along well with my teachers, I find the work interesting, I'm doing subjects I like...I get quite a bit of homework, but if it interests you, then it's not so bad. The only subject I'm not head-over-heels about is Methods, and I'm basically doing it because it's practical, and a basic prerequisite for most university courses. On the whole, school is great, but I can't wait for a holiday.

I already knew this, but all u guys have such a better education in your country, than i do in america....i heard that we were ranked like #30 something for education in the world...japan was #1 and england was like #2 or something......in my retarded californian school, we're only allowed to have 6 classes, and well i do sports so, i only have 5 classes left.....and with all of the essential classes u need to actually get an education i really don't have anyroom for electives, especially this year, cuz freshmen have to take a retarded semester of health and a semester of Technology and Career Exploration class instead of history (with a perverted old teacher, and all we do is power point presentations and go online haha) so that leaves me with only 4 classes, which are: biology1honors, french 2, english 1 honors, and geometry.....yea i know, i probably seem pretty stupid to all of you guys, but some people in my grade are in like algebra part1 ok...so geometry is normal....the highest classes people in my grade take are chemistry and algebra 2, which is a year ahead of me, only my school district does it though, so it's considered accelerated, and can u believe that in california being in french 2 as a freshmen is accelerated....english is either regular english1 or english1 honors....education in new jersey, where i used to live is a bit better, language-wise and class size wise, but not by much <_<
