silverdinosaurs - January 13, 2004 07:25 PM (GMT)
I went to the Glasgow one
London is far away

I didn't get any photos, sorry, did you?
The Barfly one is the one mcs headlined right? I wasn't at that either -sad faces- LONDON IS FAR AWAY! Glasgow was the first show of the tour I think, how lovely
I wrote stories in an old thread about how scared I was and how rubbish I am and things

If you can be bothered looking
How old are you by the way? I forgot if you said or not, either way I am nosy aaa raaa raaa

robot speed - January 13, 2004 11:19 PM (GMT)
ooh i did! i did!
except, i went to the astoria one on the saturday. the second one i think it was. aar were kinda erm...crap. but yay for mcs <3.
sorry, no pics. my friend has some though, when she comes online i'll ask her about them...
aaargh, i SO wanted to go to the barfly show. i heart that venue.

silverdinosaurs - January 16, 2004 11:12 AM (GMT)
I didn't stay out of the merch place long enough to heard aar properly

I was there when Tyler/Tyson/Tysomething came out and said "lemme hear you screeeeaaaam" and thousands of 14year old girls screamed. Funnily enough, I couldn't leave quick enough after that..

Is the barfly 18+? I think the Glasgow one is. I like little venues

robot speed - January 16, 2004 06:12 PM (GMT)
haha. i was right at the front during limbeck and mcs' sets....i left after them - went back to the merch place. oops.

erm, for most shows the barfly is over 18s, but the people there aren't really bothered about it.
yeah, little venues are fuunnn.

KniTingGrl - January 16, 2004 08:49 PM (GMT)

robot speed - January 27, 2004 07:25 PM (GMT)

silverdinosaurs - January 29, 2004 09:33 PM (GMT)
-jumps on bandwagon-

Tha mi 18 bliadhna dh'aois.
But I already said that in several other threads.. I just noticed I hadn't said it here.

J'habit a Edinburgh. Je joue le basket.. I don't think that's very accurate, but I haven't done French since second year. THIRTEEN YEARS OLD! I'm allowed to have forgotten, I'm all old now.

sharkie - February 1, 2004 06:25 PM (GMT)
i am 16
dont mind me. i went to the portsmouth pyramids one. it was spose to be in 400 people wedgewood rooms, where jet and mars volta played. i like them. they are super. or soooooper... or souper soup. bleh bleh bleh........

nay - February 1, 2004 11:06 PM (GMT)
ironic. i bought the mars volta and jet cds together. i'm not sure about the mars volta. meh.

ummmmmmmmm-end-

KniTingGrl - February 2, 2004 10:01 PM (GMT)
THAT'S BECAUSE OF THE HYPNOTISING SUB-BLIM-MIN-NAL ( HA!) MESSAGES THEY PLAY YOU WHILE SHOPPING AT YOU LOCAL RECORD STORE.

it's true.
either that, or it's telepathic. but that's a hoax. so never mind.

just kidding, dearly.....ffffffffiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeesssssttttttaaaaaaa

i like the mars volta. deloused something something something.
a band member in that band died from od on some horrible drug last spring. i think. perhaps i'm wrong...annnnddddddd i'm pretty sure that the mars volta is linked to 'at the drive in'.
maybe not.
skeptics.
spelling
demon.
i saw a jet music video recently....
i like the french. i told that alkaline trio guy that i gave a wrong phone number to
( when i ate that nastttttty blueberry muffin) that i was half french.
which, in fact, is 1/2 true.
my grandma( not the paranoid one) was french.
ramble.

i'm currently enjoying " the blank generation" on some movie channel ....it's quite good... a documentary bout' punk rock emerging in new york in the 70's

it's not really a documentary, though. all it is is black and white shows filmed song by song....ramones....some band....some other band....mmm...

ewwwww do you know what i saw in target today? a neon pink pearl necklace ( IN THE CHEESY JEWELRY SECTION DUBBED "PUNK CHICK". )
i recieved the same one about a year ago from a friend who bought it for me at a thrift shop ( the same one i have worked at) that looked pretty old....i almost didn't wear it.
now these cheesy articles of old lady jewelry are ending up in desperate-wannabe-punk-nine-year-olds necks.
boo.

lllllllloooooooooooooooonnnnnnngggggggggggggggg post.

oooooooorrrrrrrraaaannnggggeee juiiiiiiiiiicccccccccceeeeeee.

it's too cold to go to the park.

don't make me go.

smellthecolors - February 2, 2004 10:15 PM (GMT)
that movie sounds fun.
i want some cookies.
lil' jimmy euringer is the sexiest man alive.
stand on your head and squint one eye and what do you get....................dizzy! thats what.
i did laundry.
accomplishments for smelly.
crack my knuckles and this post is done.

nay - February 3, 2004 01:19 AM (GMT)
the mars volta and sparta morphed out of at the drive in. methinks i like sparta better.

aaaaaaaand DRY HANDS.

I LOOOOOVE THIS WOMAN! that commercial is on right now. the end.

silverdinosaurs - February 3, 2004 03:17 PM (GMT)
I like at the drive in best of the three I think.
For a while I thought the mars volta>atdi>sparta

Now the novelty has worn off (crappy phrase, I still like them but my atdi love has stayed [and will stay] with me for a longlong time, they're one of the most influencial bands of recent years in my opinion) ..wait what was my point?

Oh yeah, at the drive in > the mars volta > sparta
But I love sparta too.
At the drive in begot qualititive bands, ho yeah: )

nay - February 3, 2004 03:46 PM (GMT)
i've never really listened to at the drive in. i've heard um like 2 or 3 songs by them. and i don't remember them YAY!

but HEY. oi people walking by made me lose my train of thought. ddddddduuhhhhhhhhh *blankstare*

KniTingGrl - February 3, 2004 09:15 PM (GMT)
it was a nice movie. it makes me wish i was born in the 70's so i could have been there at those shows, take me back in time...i wanna meet joey...boooooo.
all those bands are nice. i think i like mars volta, at the drive in , and then sparta.
they are all DELICIOUS ( does it sound stupid now that justin uses it as an adjective in his blog? i like to think he took it from me. that's how stupid i am. it's sad.) and ultra bandssssss...

gabba gaaaabbbbbaaa heeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy

i'm so happy tony is blogging everyday.
it makes me motavated to write in mine.

HA! i used a "age correcting" hand cream, and my hands are silky-buttery-feathery-beauty-satiny-dreamy-creamy-baby's ass smoothy-oh i think i'll become a bling-bling ring model because my hand is turning into soft things-

i'm kidding.
i wish my hands were that way.
no i don't.
make up my mind.
boo.
....................let's just say that " making my hands feel like a baby's ass" isn't near one of my 10000 things to wish for in life.

age correcting?
what is that sposed to mean?
what is grape seed oil?
what is retinol?
why is the ingriedant "collagen" in the lotion, when in fact, that is the same stuff plastic surgeons inject into people's lips with a syringe( maybe) ?

demon lotion.

into the fireplace it goes.

nay - February 3, 2004 09:35 PM (GMT)
i am in desperate need of some lotion. the good stuff we have is in my car but HI too lazy to get it. let's hear it for elephant skin!

my brother and sister were down here playing pool. my sister managed to smear chalk on my face.

:D
